my favorite way to approach t/wewy verses is really leaning into the parallel universe canon. some of the most fun i have is when i can write with the assumption that a character outside of joshua's timeline is either visiting, got dumped into his universe, or been displaced (and vice versa if it's joshua infiltrating someone's timeline). there's actually many plotline avenues you can go down and opportunities for the characters to show their unique sides, muse development, and make room for new relationships.

#one starter i did that was particularly juicy bc the neku actually Did Not have a joshua in their canon and attached to joshua #and it was cute and angsty #but like... things of that nature #i am ofc very happy to write like a Normal Person following canon and pre-established for convenience #but plotting in this manner goes much farther on tumblr rp for me #this strategy is also more inclusive solution for those that abide Exclusives Only #intersecting timelines expands the imagination and possibilities #then you're not writing the same canon over and over for ppl who have been at it for years #ooc #this isn't technically character analysis but the category will do #analysis
