I also made a lil artist persona character, cuz yea.. just wanted to. My friends have affectionately titled her FrankenMal but again Mal is just fine, she is pretty much me anyhow…

Vohtari and the Vohleans:

Vohtari (Land of Twilight) is a planet known for its 4 dense planetary rings made of the stardust from dead stars. Its atmosphere makes the sky appear light purple with pink and gold bands making it seem like the world is in an almost constant state of twilight, thus its name. Vohtari has two moons Alade and Ore.

The Vohleans (People of Twilight) are a sapient humanoid race. They are bipedal and digitigrade with 4 limbs, 10 fingers, 10 toes, and a tail. Like humans they also evolved from simian-like creatures though theirs resembled more closely to lemurs. Vohleans are also very tall in stature averaging around 6’8”-7' 4” and are a very robust race leading to have incredibly long livespans that range to about 5000 years at maximum. Due to cooler average temperatures on Vohtari the vohleans are covered in a short velvet fur that vary in shades cerulean, indigo, purple, and violet with usually darker secondary coloring that presents in patterns and markings. The Vohlea have the “magical” ability to harness the power of the stars, absorbing their cosmic energy and redirecting it out in many ways. The technicality and the strength of these abilities varies from person to person, and even branches off as region or clan specific specialties. For example some can convert stellar energy into light manipulation, some can make constructs, and others can form other matter entirely out of this energy like say crystals. Many vohleans believe that this power was bestowed upon their ancient ancestors by their goddess Vanna to protect them from harm.

History:

Vohtari was once a thriving utopia. The Vohleans ability to harness the power of the stars was seemly unmatched but yet they were held back from reaching their full potential as they had not discovered space travel yet. That made them vulnerable to more advanced alien races. Throughout multiple points in their history the vohleans had been raided for their resources and their people. But none had reached such a devastation as the Great Cataclysm that would decimate 99% of Vohtari’s population leaving the planet a forgotten ruin. Zoravanna had just reached adulthood befit the events of the Great Cataclysm. Her clan were a group of artisans specializing in crystal making as-well as crystal jewelry. Vanna at this point in her life had mastered the trade and her future was very promising. That is until that day a giant space armada descended upon the planet. Vanna and her family attempted to seek refuge in an underground tunnel system but the planet was eventually hit with a powerful nuclear blast. Though Vanna would end up surviving as she in a last ditch effort, absorbed the blast and created a crystal structure around her body that would sustain and protect her for centuries to come. It had probably been about a thousand years when she was found and broken free by Lobo. She had some reservations about going with him (not that she necessarily had much of a choice) but after seeing the countless corpses of her people and the immense decay of her planet she decided to travel with him to whatever L.E.G.I.O.N was. And an unlikely friendship would take form.
