Nanami lies saying he’s already had his first kiss, just to mess with Gojou. And what’d’ya know, Gojou is irritated and demands a kiss, openly admits it’s his first kiss. That it should be fine since he’s not Nanami’s first kiss, after all. But after the kiss Nanami confesses that it’s his first kiss too. Ieiri tells Haibara to stop their cheesy interaction, but Getou wants to take more photos of Gojou’s first kiss. Haibara, ever adorable Haibara, is all ‘oh~ it’s Gojou’s first kiss? That’s unexpected.’

It’s the way he misses the notions of love in Gojou’s (pretty straightforward) confessions. He takes them as Gojou’s continuous banter that he’ll occasionally responds in kind to, double the flirt. He doesn’t even notice Gojou’s fluster isn’t because he’s embarrassed he’s been one upped. No, no, no, it’s because cute, loving, and past thoughts of Nanami flood Gojou’s brain and he loves this man and doesn’t know how to stop it long enough for a comeback. Nanami is an object in motion that stays in motion until one day one of the kids or even Ijichi/Ieiri points it out.
