Pete's World is still recovering from repeated disasters, and their famous faces are few enough he usually has a basic idea of which ones would gather crowds like this.

Emily had been traveling through the universe for what seemed like forever to find the Doctor after he had dropped her out of the TARDIS in her old form, as a sonic screwdriver. For the beginning of her âflesh-lifeâ as she called it she was determined to reunite with the form that dropped her, the 11th Doctor. But by this point she just wanted any of this fors to be with. She now found herself on a park bench on earth in a place called âSan Franciscoâ. It seemed almost impossible to be in the right time and space to find the Doctor. But soon a man approached her at her park bench from behind.
'Approached' her is a bit of a loose term. True, he was walking in her direction...but from his perspective he was actually approaching the hot dog cart a short distance beyond her.
Not that he didn't see her sitting there, mind, he just...hot dogs.
