he is a little confused when grace starts messing with armando. usually, he'll just verbally request for the bot to do some pre-programmed test — "swab here" or "take a blood sample" — but today, he's manually inputting commands to a screen simon can't see. grace types a few things, clicks around a bit, and then nods to himself. simon is about to ask what he's doing, but grace claps and says, "alright, let's get started."
armando whirs to life and reaches for simon's face. the bot is always a bit unnerving, but it's inspected his teeth and swabbed his cheeks enough times that he no longer flinches when it approaches. he opens his mouth for its silicone 'fingers'; it rests one against his bottom lip for a moment, then gently probes deeper, sliding along his tongue, lingering far longer than normal. saliva begins to pool in simon's mouth and he tries to swallow around the intrusion, then makes a questioning sound at grace.
