I feel like I wanna put my own thoughts here because a part of me can't help but feel frustrated with ppl's stances on it. And to clarify this is not disrespect to ANYONE but I know this is a fandom and most fandoms can never agree on anything.

I see a lot of people saying that Eclipse x roxy seems to...almost, take away the wanted representation of a platonic duo, and honestly I completely understand the frustration that fans feel with tsams and eaps for the constant inclusion of coupled characters, but in my opinion I feel like with the amount of TIME put into eclipse's redemption, finding a partner is just a check on the list. Roxy is the CLOSEST anyone has ever gotten to eclipse, he respects her, he finds her useful.

MOST partners usually are FRIENDS before LOVERS. I do feel the frustration but what representation is being taken away if it was never there?? in my opinion I think from the beginning roxy was planned to have some sort of connection with eclipse and naturally that would've built up over time.

As a check on the list, he finds hobbies, things to distract himself from work, KIDS to take care of, yes, roxy is a co-parent but she's also someone eclipse trusts more than enough to handle thing's he can't. You could say that about most of the characters but compared to roxy I would say even SHE cares about his well being MORE than anyone else!

Now of course, this fandom may end up doing what they did when solar x nebula became a thing...harassment, doxing, being just petty to ppl in general because god forbid tsbs want an actual healthy relationship for their characters. Most Startools haters were ruin x solar shippers or even solar x NEXUS shippers. The fact of the matter is those ships had too many issues in CANON to be anywhere NEAR healthy. But that's what the fans want and that's what they demand. They got nova frost, they got ruin and monty, and honestly I love them too because at least they have mutual and romantic attraction towards each other but in my opinion, to say eclipse and roxy have no chemistry at all couldn't be farther from the truth.

Eclipse states himself that he hardly even has time to THINK about his feelings towards anyone or sit down to think about something that could just let him relax, to say he's on that level in sexuality like Moon, where he could care less about dating when eclipse never even really sat down and THOUGHT about it enough to have a clear stance on it, baffles me. He said HIMSELF in "why eclipse doesn't date", he wouldn't hate the thought of being with someone. and whether Roxy is actually attracted to him or not, she's most definitely, and objectively the better option for him, even just to see how it feels to have those kinds of feelings.

These are just my opinion for the most part but I felt like I wanted to get it out there.

Side note: You don't have to ship it if it becomes canon anyways. I cannot stand seeing posts of ppl saying they're gonna "end" it or quit social media if something becomes canon or not dude. It's fictional, it does NOT affect you THAT much.

But YK.. I dont have a problem with cannon ships or not..

Because that's the perks in being a multi shipper.

I have written, and deleted, and rewritten. and redeleted my answers to this ask so many times. I keep rambling, then going back because it makes no sense.

MoonChips, my absolutely beloved, has so many flavours, my all time favourite, it's the easiest way to bring my attention on anything lmao xD

Someone just mentions it and I am like "!!!!!!!!!!".

I'm forcing myself to be as concise as possible, cuz I genuinely, AM SICK OVER THESE SHIPS.

OG!Moon and OG!Eclipse are enemies, hate each other, but also understand each other more than anyone else because they used to be one person, and Eclipse is just SO upset from Moon leaving him behind AND I LOVE THEM SO MUCH OMG PLEASE- all Eclipse wanted was Moon, his attention to be one with him again, to annoy Moon, to get back at Moon, it was always Moon this Moon that, Sun came second or as a means to hurt Moon!

OG!Moon and Backup!Eclipse (Dusk), Dusk at this point was avoidant of Moon, but at the same time, had nothing else but the plans his predecessor left behind for him to continue on as (Get the Star, annoy Moon, and kinda Sun). He still tried to keep away from Moon, knowing the other would kill him if he could, until he found an "opportunity" to "bring Moon to his side", if even for a small moment (To kill KC) AND JUST RAAAAAAA, MOON AND DUSK WERE SO- I WANNA PUT THEM IN A BLENDER.

Dusk and New Moon, New Moon was so untrusting and so tired of Dusk's shit it was SO FUNNY, Dusk was truly the start of the pathetic wet cat arc, and we all love a pathetic wet cat with someone who doesn't give a shit vibes okay chat, I fucking love them!!! And then New Moon kills Dusk, and Dusk is just so pathetic, I'm crying /pos.

New Moon and Copy!Eclipse (Polaris), POLARIS IS SO ANGRY. He just wants to be dead, and not here anymore, and he's so fucking tired, and pissed off, and biting at my enclosure. THEY HAVE SO MUCH TOGETHER, NEW MOON APOLOGIZING TO POLARIS?? LIKE RAAAAA, New Moon coming to terms with that MAYBE, Old Moon was in the wrong, and everything with the Eclipses could've been avoided if Old Moon WASN'T SUCH AN ASSHOLE (<33333 I love OG!Old Moon chat), and Polaris is just so happy he's got a Moon to finally listen to him, he's still a dick about it, he still doesn't trust it at all, BUT HOLY SHIT IT'S REAL CHAT AND IM LOSING MY FUCKING MARBLES.

New Moon and Eclipse!v4 (Nova), my son, my children, i sob and love them, they could've had so much together, NOVA COULD SEE NEW MOON'S DECENT AND IM CRYING THE PARALLELS RAAAAAAAAA, their time together is short and toxic as hell (Cuz start of Nexus arc lol), I live for it.

I'm vibrating in my seat as I write this.

ANYWAYS

Nexus and Nova, MY BABIES, one of my absolute favourite flavours atm (The OG duo still be my top top one tho fr fr), Nova would/could've understood Nexus, a copy of someone else, forced to bare the wight of the past that isn't theirs, AND YET SO DIFFERENT, BECAUSE ONE HAD THE MEMORIES, AND THE OTHER FORCED INTO THE POSITION BY THE SURROUNDINGS, LIKE AAAAAAAAAAA.

this is why New Moon and Nova had so much potential as well, AND WHY NEW MOON AND POLARIS WERE SO COOL, CUZ THEY COULD UNDERSTAND AND HEAL TOGETHER AND IM INSANE FUCK YOU GUYS IM SOBBING AT THE LOST POTENTIAL RAAAAAAAAA.

I still live in delulu, Nexus could've totally just left the main dimension, went to EAPS, and gone through a "redemption arc" under Nova, because they'd be so understanding of each other, i'm sobbing, I love LullabyChips (IT'S A FLAVOUR OF MOONCHIPS, IT GETS TO BE HERE FUCK OFF /SILLY /LHJ)

Who can't help but begrudgingly admit that he likes Ash, that his company isn't AWFUL, that maybe, just maybe, he looks forward to being able to just hang out and be himself with a Moon that doesn't outright show hostility with him (-stares at Old Moon- /pos)

Chat I have a whole.thing in my head- like Eclipse pining over Moon (old or nexus idgaf) and having flowers growing in him. But since he's a robot he can just open himself up and clean himself out even if its uncomfortable. But as he falls more and more in love with him it gets worse and starts tangling in his servos which makes it harder and harder to get it out and more uncomfortable. And he's suffering na due hates it and he hates himself from loving moon but he can't stop. And he's terrified to tell him, afraid he'll be disgusted and turn him away.

And maybe he is? Thats be good for angst ig. Or maybe, he walks in on Eclipse cleaning himself out one day, and he's terrified, but moon just sits in front of him and gently helps him clean it out and tells him he's not mad and already kind of knew and would be fine with trying it out

Toxic, oh my god so fucking toxic such an interesting concept im not even going to go into it thats too crazy for main (i keep all my toxic ships on my tsams side blog 😔). Moon also includes new moon/nexus! Meaning, v4 Eclipse x Nexus? Yup, a flavour of moonchips, and holy fuck do I love v4 Eclipse x Nexus bro- also, v1 x nexus? He could have treated him SO much better. Also also, v2 x moon? Bro, they had a partnership already- like- auwnjsnssdnd AND ASH (eaps moon) X V4?? bro how can I be normal about moonchips-

Nexus x Eclipse x Sol: ... if you know, you know *looks to Zee* we have an au with this ship and it goes crazy bro. again, another au/ship too toxic to relaly yap about on main. But basically Sol abused Nexus and Eclipse and once they leave him they're very dependent on each other. Its a really interesting dynamic and its fun to play around with the characters

LullabyNight: chat, chat hear me out- listen Moon would be able to understand him if he really tried. And they could be sciency together- and experiment because Nexus did say that one time he wasn't sure about his sexuality (which makes sense!! Him questioning his sexuality is actually a nice part of his character arc, since he's not Moon) and Moon said he'd be willing to experiment with someone who was like him?? Bro, they're perfect. Let them kiss

Eclipse x Nexus x Solar (lullabychips, Eclipse², and Solarnexus): obviously my main ship i talk about a lot. Im not asss obsessed over it as I used to be (that is Zees fault, they got me obsessed over other ships <3) but when I rant about characters I think out of all the poly couples, they're best suited for each other. From Eclipse and Solar's moon trauma, to Eclipse and Nexus both being copies of someone else, to Eclipse and Solar both being eclispes. They could all understand each other very well, as well as compliment each other. Plus, cmon, Eclipse has been borderline defending Nexus-

Rumini (ruin x Gemini): a crackship that happened on a thread about who Ruin is shipped with and people were making art for it and I started thinking about it and im obsessed wnsdnsnsd they'd be so great for each other but also terrible. Secretive old man yaoi <3

Moon jolts and falls off his chair "AH" he looks at eclipse and frowns

"Eclipse" he says

"Hey moony how ya doing?" Eclipse teases

"I'm doing fine eclipse just looking at dimensions"

"Why?"

"Personal stuff now why are you here?"

"Well I just wanted to visit my home dimension for a little and I ran into you"

"Yeah hi"

Eclipse walks behind the desk and bends down to moons height

"What are you doing..."

"Something" eclipse says and kisses moons cheek
