She’s beyond the point of listening, apparently.

She’s shrieking at this point, reaching ear-splitting volume levels and pitches in her panic.

She manages to smack a hand down on her, a lot harder than she intended to simply due to how fast she had been pursuing her and how small Marie’s squid form was. Oops.

“YEAH, AND I’M A FLYING PIG! IF YOU’RE REALLY NOT BEING MIND CONTROLLED, THEN HELP ME CATCH HER!”

“GET BACK HERE!”

“Marie, I’m giving you three seconds to take them off. One...”

“YOU- YOU REALLY TRUST HIS WORD?!” She looks just about ready to bitch-slap them right off Marie’s face.

“PUT THOSE DOWN!”

“...don’t look at me like that. I wanted to tell you, but I can’t just out someone! Especially not in public!”

“All I’m saying is, I figured it out long before you did, so...” 

“You’re legally not allowed to call me dumb anymore. Not even playfully.”

Callie has made the educated guess that Metry is trans based on everything currently going on, and is kind of dumbfounded that Marie hasn’t made the same guess yet, given that Marie is also trans.
