No one prepares you for the flood of emotions that come along with your kid getting behind the wheel for the first time. I was not ready.. My baby did a great job though, and I’m proud of her. She was so focused, she hilariously drove past our driveway. Hours later, she was still laughing about it. Celebrating “small wins” has been a problem for me. 😫 At times, it feels like the entrepreneur road ahead is so long and it will take so much time to get where I want to be.. that I feel silly celebrating something small when I still have so far to go. 🍾 Other times, I'm all “yay me” and want to celebrate every single sale. As I look back on where I've been, I realize that yes, it was a series of small wins that got me here: ➡ I posted my first blog posts. ➡ I created my first digital product. ➡ I started my email list. ➡ I joined a giveaway bundle. ➡ I hit 1k email subscribers. ➡ I had my first consulting call (I really hesitate to call it a coaching call since I don't consider myself a coach). In everything I've done, my anxiety and imposter syndrome were right there with me.. but I didn't let it win. Literally me: 😭😳🤨😵‍ 🥰 I'm proud of where I am and those of you who know me personally know just how hard it is for me to say that. So, yes. I might not be considered “successful” just yet, but my series of little wins are going to get me there. I'm positive of that. 👍 So, what about you - What are some of your small wins? Simply put: have an attitude of gratitude. 🥰 ❄️☕ No matter how bad things are, I try my best to find something to be grateful for, even if it's my morning blended iced coffee (which I dumped a good portion of on my shirt and the table yesterday - and still somehow was able to laugh it off, even if it was coffee). 😫😫 Negativity is everywhere and you'll probably encounter a fair share of it as you go through your day.. 🥰🥰 So we should do our best to at least START our day finding a reason to be grateful. Hey, you woke up, right? 💤💤 Lately, I have been trying to think of things I'm grateful for as I fall asleep at night. Some nights, the list is literally: ➡️ Davina 👧 ➡️ Our pets 🐶🐶🐶🐰🐱 ➡️ Iced Coffee ❄️☕ ..but at least it's something. It's a work in progress..
