Day 6: Heartbreak, The Second Stage Of Grief
When Legolas finds Aragorn grieving over Boromir, it's mentioned he has a long knife but that he's all out of arrows. Afterwards, he follows Aragorn in lament, singing about grey seas, wailing gulls, stormy skies, white and dark shores... There's something about this moment that sticks with me when I think of the Prince of the Woodland Realm.
On a completely different note: I spent ages debating whether to give him dark hair or light hair... so... here's this dark-ish ash-blond hair that glows bright when it catches the light interpretation...??

I was painting some LOTR fanart of Éowyn and the Witch-King of Angmar for fun when my brain drifted off and my pen slipped... Yes, that's a little Mouth of Sauron being shushed by Sauron on the steps over there, and yes, the Witch-King is chilling with Théoden and Denethor now. Additional notes and the different versions of Gríma's hair that I was considering under the cut!
Maybe this explains where I've been since I last posted online: I just finished dreaming of Mordor as a comfy abode despite all appearances. And yes, there is no pool of lava. It's just a hot spring down there.
