She smiled a bit, leaning back against the chair to get comfortable. âI mean, youâve got a bit of reputation at the precinct, but not in a bad way. You have a certain way of thinking outside the box that I think people donât quite get, or they jealous of. I envy it, a bit, it sure could help us every now and then, but some people arenât always welcoming to that.â Judy tilted her head a bit, giving him her attention as he spoke. âMysteries and unanswered questions must look different to us.â As he mentioned the name tag, she sat up a little straighter and nodded. âIt seems a little too easyâand just the name tag was found?â
Milo beamed. He couldnât help it. Who was able to fight the feeling when someone was handing over a heavy helping of praise. âI gotta admit, that does put a nice pat on my back. I try to the best I can, like anybody else. And I just work ridiculously hard, to the point where it might be unhealthy. But, weâll cross that bridge when my lack of sleep catches up to me eventually. And just know Iâm always happy to help down at the station whenever you guys need it!â Milo offered, feeling a little more than bolstered now. âLooks like it. But, at least it gives us a commonality of a goal. Doesnât matter what motivates to solve them, what matters is that we want them solved, right?â Milo offered, brow raised. âNow, thatâs what I donât get. It seems so convenient. Ridiculously so. And if it isnât Tremaine who had it, why wasnât there a sign of a break in to plant it? Did the culprit use Jim and Morphâs break in as a cover up? So many questions.â
