I stole an apple because I was starving to death and now I have to eat myself forever, please take some of my flesh and bury it next to the Holy Tree of Roses and Thorns so that it will grow into a rosebud that will finally sate my endless hunger" and it's like okay yeah sure why not I was going that way anyway so I can get some incense oil for the lady who's made of bees

I'm so happy with how this turned out, ngl! Though I must admit, especially the wings first broke my pencil, then my wrist and ultimately my will (All for a character who canonically isn't even described having feathery wings to begin with, mind you...). But the me from some months ago thought it would be a good idea to add some, and the me now is happy how they look now! ^^
The overall vibe and design was partly inspired by statues of saints displayed at local chapel near my hometown. Despite my own rather complicated relationship with religion as a whole (Let's say I'm agnostic until I figure things out) when thinking of the Ainur of Tolkien's works my view of them is undoubtedly through the lense of my catholic upbringing (Can't escape the roman catholic roots. Not in southern Germany...). And one can think about the decadent decorations of some churches however they want. I do sometimes wonder if all that gold and money would've been better spent feeding some children instead of decorating a place from which pastors can preach how terrible world hunger is... but from an artistic view, they do slay! Oh FUCK they do!
While drawing Eönwë I constantly had to think of a specific sculpture at said chapel: St. Michael fighting the devil with a spear.
Now it doesn't look exactly like my Eönwë, but the idea is there: A valiant angelic being with flowing clothes fighting a manifestation of evil (here, the devil as a woman with tits for whatever reason (It's deliberately stated that the devil is a woman in this statue which is an interesting choice I think) and a nice pair of bird wings.
For Eönwë specifically I chose to focus on including both star- and bird thems in his armor design to show his ties to Manwë (and to Varda as his mom in earlier versions). Instead of a classic round halo I chose a light crown that again faintly resembles wings.
The snake is my symbol for the evil of Melkor. Not only because of the famous biblical manifestation of the devil as a snake in Eden, but also because of the dragons of Melkor. And what are snakes if not wingless, legless dragons?

Generally, I don’t like sitcoms because they’re cringe and full of stereotypes particularly gender stereotypes, but I gotta say I adore Bob Hearts Abishola.
All of the characters have depth. It has a derpy bumbling fat guy male lead, but he’s actually a nice guy, like the kind that you totally understand why a woman might want to marry. Bob can get it. The female lead is gorgeous and funny and charming, and she’s allowed to be that without anybody holding her back. Quirky best friends are allowed to be sexy and over bearing mothers are allowed to find love. It’s alll so effortlessly enjoyable. 
Is it perfect? No it’s a sitcom and all sitcoms have a little bit of cringe in them but is it as close to perfect as you’re gonna get? hell yeah.
