A bit shorter than usual, since I think the next part is going to be much longer! A little bit of angst featuring my Sheyla Columbina.

I would want to listen to him talk for as long as he wanted to talk. I'd love to hear him ramble on about his interests and thoughts, his perspectives on morality and existence and life and what his thoughts of love are. I'd want to listen to his life, his childhood, his fears and frustrations and miseries.

I'd want to learn his body intimately and slowly learn how to show him my own— compare our forms, our limbs, our senses and see where they differ. I'd ask him what feels good, what hurts, what feels weird or what tickles.

I'd ask him about the parts of himself he likes, the parts he doesn't, and want to show him that they are all the same wondrous parts of him to me.

I'd let him explore all the things he's ever wanted to explore and experiment with and I'd trust him never to hurt me while doing those things. His hands are stained crimson and his claws are sharp, but I'd assure him over and over that I would never fear him or loathe him for being the creature he is no differently than the creature I am in turn.

I'd want to make him feel love in such a visceral, primal, deep way that he waxes poetry and crafts sonnets of affection and love so raw that it's dripping with blood and beauty.

If you can't answer this, just ignore it.

He is still against that kind of stuff, honestly. The purpose of his current fanmerch policy is to try and curb manufactured or mass-produced merchandise because there *IS* an issue with companies trying to make money off of his game and characters.

I can't speak in any specific legal capacity and I am NOT his legal representative, but I can say as a fellow creator it does hurt to see someone put a lot of effort into trying to communicate boundaries or otherwise hold an expectation that people will ask for permission before making (physical, non-handmade) merchandise to sell when he doesn't even have his own shop set up.

I like to assume most people don't mean anything malicious, it's just the culture of the internet and of fandoms nowadays, especially for smaller and indie creators. I will clarify that artwork, prints, stickers and stuff like that are totally alright, the issue is with things that are mass-produced or manufactured— acrylic charms, keychains, figurines, plushies, ect.

So if the artist made it with their own hands and in their own home for the most part? Then great! If not? Then no.

(I have actually seen some BEAUTIFUL handmade figures, sculptures, plushies and whatnot and I wish I had the link to some of them because they are genuinely so beautiful)
