A doodle from my work notebook of a young Wheeljack and his (late) splitspark twin sister, Termagax!

They drifted apart shortly after the war began, when Termagax chose to side with the Decepticons. No one's sure of the specifics of how she died; just that she disappeared during the early war, and Wheeljack felt their bond sever permanently.

They're identical rather than fraternal splitspark twins-- meaning that they're also the same spark alignment (positive vs negative) and mating type in addition as spark type (Ferrum, Isometric, and Vitreous). In Cybertronians, identical twins doesn't mean they have identical physical features!

You see, the greatest enemy of the protagonists in Mission Control is not the Decepticons or even some metaphoric thing like the Horrors of War; it's teenage breakups.

One of several coming-of-age stories, with a recently-promoted Chromia needing a break from her relationship with Windblade, which Windblade handles super maturely /s They'll figure it out; they're just young, dumb teenagers.

Ohh, one of my favorite WIPs! This one has been in the works for a long time, but I'm eager for the day it's ready to publish.

This fic follows Breakdown, who, after a near-fatal run-in with the Aerialbots, has been augmented on. However, the augmentation had side effects, causing this once small, jittery stunt car to grow rapidly in both size and temper. As a result, his gestalt has kicked him out.

Now, clouded by rage and desperate to rejoin the Stunticons, he wants vengeance on the bot that augmented on him without consent. He's joined by medic-in-training Knockout, and Flatline, Knockout's mentor.

Knockout and Breakdown are both much younger than their tfp counterparts (late teens-early 20s), and will be a slow burn.

This will hopefully be the first peek at the Decepticon side of the war in Mission Control!
