how do you feel about using GIMP as an alternative to photoshop, at least during the interim? if you're more comfortable with photoshop's layout then i understand, but if it's just features you need then GIMP should probably work.
I have actually never touched GIMP before and it's entirely new to me, but I'll give it a look and see how well I can familiarize myself with it, maybe I can get the blog back up and running much sooner. Thanks for the suggestion!

Sorry about this, I keep spacing about saying this as a solution has not been found. At the moment I am between Photoshops, and until I get a new copy I've decided not to wrestle with MS Paint or the woefully kids-pix-level programs at my disposal to make submissions. We are not closing, this is merely a hiatus until I am able to procure a new legal copy for my computer.Â
