Ah the days when I got assassination attempts, good times, good times. Anyways! Hellion poker is fantastic, it’s like regular poker but with a lot more than money on the line. Bets tend to be for things like years of life, positions in demonic structure, magical powers and so forth! The dealer is also the referee who moderates the bets, so remember to tip generously and repeatedly with your winnings.

They have some quite fun abilities, if you can master them. Shadow travelling, charming, causing fear.

[As she watched he quickly seemed to fade into a fine shadowy mist, falling to the ground as if it was seeping into the shadows under The Ferry. As soon as he was gone, he reappears from Evil’s own shadow, tapping her on the shoulder.]
[She jumps, immediately and far.]
WHAT THE FUCK
Shadow walking! I did say.
[He chuckles softly, smiling at her.]
Cool! and terrifying. How do I do that
It’s more simple that in seems. Just… Focus on your eyes, the same way you would with your horns before a ram attack. Then, when you’re focused on your eyes, make sure you’re in a shadow, and you either know there is a shadow where you’re going or you can see the shadow you’re travelling to. Then, take a deep breath in and just… Fade. You’ll feel yourself turn almost smoky, inconsistent and falling apart. Just keep your focus on your eyes and your destination, you’ll be fine. I’ll make sure you don’t fade away completely on these first couple tests. Warning, it can induce a little bit of nausea, it’s crazy draining in mortal beings and overuse in a short space of time over long distances can very easily result in your death.
[He explains the theory behind shadow travelling with a grim smile, as if he expects she’ll pick up the skill quickly despite the peril it could represent.]
