Got back into gouache after forever. Why did I ever stop? Just a little practice, part from life, part fantasy. The fantasy part? Those red fairytale mushrooms ain’t edible, so don’t try it!

Made this in Clip Studio, which I started using a couple years ago and I absolutely love it.

You may recognize the view from the #blossomblock downtown! I included some process shots, too. For those who are curious I really enjoyed the opportunity to use graphic media, but I am a not-so humble #draftsman and I wield a fierce pencil! Many of the meaty bits in these designs were born as real drawings on actual paper. Sometimes I can work quickly and efficiently in digital, other times there's no substitute for drawing on paper and it can even save me time. Enjoy!
