I adore my black writers, my POC writers, and all of you because you created a space for people like me. I love you because we have unique stories that want to be told, and you write them! Because not everyone has blue eyes or blonde hair, but when you see yourself as the character or original character in a book, everyone wants to feel connected, seen, and viewed as a love interest.
