I can see why. In fact, as I was writing the comic, as well as the original fanfic it's adapted from, I've been wondering if I should put more Kid Icarus characters in, such as Pyrrhon, Phosphora, and Arlon. But really, I don't feel like they would have contributed much to the plot at all.

Well, while the title is Kid Icarus Legacy, I never intended for it to solely be about Kid Icarus characters. I'm a huge fan of crossovers, particularly Smash Bros., so I wanted to include elements from that series. Especially because Smash is the primary reason why Uprising was made at all.

The story is mainly meant to be about Pit getting ready for a new phase in his life. And out of all the Kid Icarus characters, I don't feel any of them would be able to help him with his anxiety, hence why none of them have shown up, outside of Palutena. And while he could talk to Palutena, her busy schedule and his uncertainty are preventing him from doing so.

Rosalina, being someone outside of his work life, is someone who understands what he's going through while also providing an external perspective. Her inclusion, alongside the Lumas, is there to show what Pit does outside of work and how he acts as a father and husband, which is why Rosalina sees him the way she's expressed in the past few pages. And because she's his wife in this story, he's willing to believe her and what she thinks of him above anyone else. So while she isn't a Kid Icarus character, she's there to provide the comfort Pit needs at this time that he can't find elsewhere.

Because I want to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Kid Icarus Uprising.
