They had us reenact how Israelis soldiers killed Palestinians and had taught us to see Jewish people as our enemies. When I was a muslim, our teachers taught us that a man in his 60′s raping a 9 year old was okay because allah wanted him to. When I was a muslim, I was taught as a kid to believe that men had a marital right and if his wife doesn’t obey then she deserves to be punished by him. When I was a muslim, our teachers would tell us children fake stories and twist them just so that they can end with “and that’s why Islam is the one true religion”. When I was a muslim, our teachers would explain in great detail what hell was like and how people (mostly women) will be tortured for the rest of eternity - and yet still insist that allah is good.
