I am. so. in love. with the way noelle changed in the weird route. the way she acted robotically to susie, going through the motions of being a good girl, the crushing on susie girl, when inside she was planning something big. and it burst out when she saw us again

i don't think she killed herself and kris in the weird route like people suspect. i think the side of her that seeks out oddities in games came to life when we (through kris) convinced her she was in a game (likely not on purpose but she thought the dark world was like a game and then we made her believe that was real life).

pulling kris into the lake wasnt a suicide mission. she begged us not to hesitate in saying "proceed" so our prompts would cause her and kris to play a walking animation for just long enough so they can't die, so the game can't reset everyone to their rightful position. You go far enough doing this and you clip OOB (Out of Bounds). i suspect she has done something like this in the games she has played before.

If we say the Dark Worlds are made of OOB "blackness" such as the black area around the rooms we see top-down, we went in there (even if it looked white). And the game has to now put us somewhere if we can't walk in there. that happens to be chapter 7 which is likely going to take place in the shelter or the DEPTH where our vessel was created. and potentially where Dess disappeared to after also going OOB or into the dark.

When we fail to mash proceed, possibly Kris and noelle drown and are set back into their roles automatically because the prophecy can't proceed without them as actors in it. like when you "game over" and the game puts you back in an alive state, but it can't put you somewhere you shouldn't be so they were put back into the happy route cutscenes.

I felt this weird wave of anxiety and i turned around and said "Good?" with an expression similar to this:
