Glorious Pride is a unit song inspired by Dia-Drop, a duo idol unit consisting of Suryeon and Ara. Built around a rock-based arrangement, the song combines fast-paced drums, powerful brass, elegant strings, and dazzling keyboard lines. Through its charismatic sound, I wanted to capture the distinctively classical and aristocratic character that belongs to Dia-Drop alone. Suryeon’s cool and ambitious personality and Ara’s sensitive, self-critical nature are brought together under the shared theme of “pride.” Their determination to overcome hardship and never give up on their goals is expressed through the image of noble aristocrats who continue to stand tall in the face of adversity.💎✨

Janmong (殘夢) is the original soundtrack for EmberJ’s original story '작별일기'. Much like a father telling his child an old story, the piece unfolds in a gentle, comforting atmosphere, while also evoking memories that feel distant and wistful—like a dream. At the climax, an ornate melody carries Mio’s desperate longing as she chases after her late father, and the ending settles into a quiet calm, like the lingering afterimage felt upon waking from a dream.

Farrhan Fables: The Nest is the theme song of 'Nest', a community that hunts down Farrhan’s disasters. Within a Celtic fantasy sound palette, I incorporated elements of wind and birds to express Nest’s identity. While portraying their brave, adventurous spirit in rich sound, I also used a recurring harp melody at the beginning and end, along with traditional percussion, to make the piece feel like an old folktale—or a traditional folk song—carrying the story of their adventures.

✻ client: 리치(catallarii) 님 ✻ composer: Tenucca ✻ art: 리치(catallarii) 님 Farrhan Fables: The Shift is a piece that translates Farrhan’s disaster phenomenon known as “the Shift” into sound. As if heavy ground were slowly shifting, low-register strings, bell tones, brass, and textured sounds gradually and steadily build up, and on top of them sits a rough flute tone that feels like a forest crying. Using sound effects such as breathing, heartbeats, and sobbing, I aimed to convey the Shift not as a mere natural event, but as the ominous movement of something living.

For a long time, I think I neglected music while focusing on my business. Now that a long-term project has finally come to an end and I’ve found a studio to move closer to my dream, it almost feels like I’m being rewarded for all those years of patience.

There’s so much I want to learn. This year, I want to slowly take on the things I couldn’t pursue because of work, one step at a time.

While I’m taking a break from work, I’ll be opening ,music composition commissions on a platform called CREPE. I believe that by working on a variety of requests, I can continue to grow as a composer. It’s been a while since I last opened commissions, so I’m honestly really nervous… wow.

It’s been quite a while, but on September 27th, I attended Rayark Symphony: Echoes of Light.

This photo shows some of the merchandise that was sold at the concert. I bought the sheet music for Dream by Rabpit and sticker set.

Rayark’s Deemo is a rhythm game that I was absolutely obsessed with during my school days, and it introduced me to many precious songs that inspired me to become a composer. That’s why I really wanted to see this concert!

Maybe my wish reached them—because I was lucky enough to win a VIP ticket through an event on X (Twitter) and got to watch it for free!

The concert was amazing! In the first half, they performed songs from Deemo 1 & 2, and in the second half, pieces from Cytus and Sdorica. I really love VOEZ too, so it was a bit disappointing that none of its tracks were included.

Personally, the performance that left the deepest impression on me was ANIMA by xi — you know, that fast and dazzling piano piece… The pianist played it absolutely flawlessly!

The encore piece was Masquerade by M2U! And Flassic(they organized and performed this concert) even allowed the audience to record and upload that part! I hope the recording can help share a bit of the concert’s atmosphere with those who couldn’t be there.

I even got to meet M2U in person, someone I truly admire, and got his autograph!!! He’s the one who first drew me into the world of Korean subculture music, and my musical taste has been deeply influenced by him. Now that I’ve met a composer I respect so much, I hope I can absorb some of his energy and become a great composer myself🥹

I created an original song for LUA, a voicebank in AINOW, a vocal synth developed in Korea.

AINOW was holding a limited-time event where their voicebanks could be used for free, and I was lucky to take that opportunity! With AINOW, I was able to create high-quality vocals with simple controls.

I think LUA fits really well with emotional and lyrical K-pop. So I had her sing a dreamy, K-style dance track. What do you think? Do her vocals go well with my song?🦋👠

I went back to the Illustar Cafe after hearing about the 夢ノ結唱 collab coming true! Super happy that I also got the SV2 POPY this time!

Although this is a story from a few days ago, I visited the Illustar cafe located at the Hyundai City Outlet in Dongdaemun, South Korea.

During March, they are selling beverages and desserts themed after SeeU and UNI's concert Serenade Universe. They had SeeU-themed mango cake and UNI-themed strawberry milk cake, but unfortunately I only had the beverage🥲

They had SeeU and UNI's artwork and life-sized standees on display here. At my seat, there was SeeU artwork by MECHURAGI, an artist I like who worked on the concert theme song MV.

And I was happy that they played the concert setlist as background music in the cafe. Actually, the Serenade Universe concert in November last year was really touching… I wonder when they'll have another one?

And this merchandise is also super cute. I went there because I wanted to get these haha

Who else wants to come to Korea to meet SeeU and UNI? By the way, it was my first time visiting Dongdaemun too, and there were so many foreigners there! Though it seemed like most people weren't there specifically to see SeeU and UNI :3

UNI's SynthesizerV2 has been released!

I had SV UNI sing Frozen Me;rror, which was originally sung by Eleanor Forte.

I posted it on Twitter, and it got a good response, so I'm posting it here too! Actually, I only changed the vocals from the original file. If I had known it would get this much attention, I would have put more effort into it before uploading!

I'm afraid I won't be able to take commissions this year due to my busy schedule T_T I'll consider reopening commissions once I have more free time!

February 14th was the birthday of UNI, the Korean VOCALOID who led me to become a VOCALOID producer🥳

An unofficial fan event celebrating UNI's birthday was held at 'Cafe Meru' in Hongdae, South Korea, and I visited there to celebrate UNI's birthday!

The image shows the cafe's exhibition space. UNI's official/unofficial merchandise, albums, and fan art were cutely displayed.

Did you know that UNI loves strawberry milk? hehe

I ordered a strawberry latte and a cookie with UNI's face drawn on it🍓🍪

The drink was really delicious! The cookie was so cute I had a hard time eating it. But it was delicious too😋

I received many fan-made merchandise as souvenirs from the visit.

There was packed with people, and it was touching to see so many people showing their love for UNI and celebrating her birthday🥹💕

While it's unfortunate that I couldn't create any fanart or original songs for UNI this year due to my busy work schedule, I'm happy that I could celebrate her birthday in this way!

I heard the news that UNI's SynthesizerV2 voicebank will be released along with the announcement of Korean language support for SynthesizerV2!!!

This is such wonderful news for me, as I've been a frequent user of SynthesizerV 🥹🥹🥹💕💕💕

I want to be a music producer who creates beautiful songs for UNI, and I'd also like to work on collaboration pieces between SV2 UNI and other vocal synthesis characters that I love

I'm not sure if there are any Korean Vocaloid fans on Tumblr. Even if you're overseas, I hope you'll take this opportunity to show interest in UNI, who is Korea's second Vocaloid and first SynthesizerV singer!

lol But honestly, I do like tuning Vocaloid and SynthV for rap vocals, so I do want to make one!🤣 Beat-making, though, is one of the areas I’m not very confident in… But who knows? Maybe someday‼️😏

I’m so glad you liked Frozen Me;rror! As for the chords you asked about, I’ll try my best to explain even though I’m not a music major and don’t know much about chords🥹.

To describe it as best as I can… I worked with a bassline progression of F#-F-E-D#-D-E-F#, and then built the chords by stacking notes on top of that. (There are a few variations in the chord progression throughout the song!) Since I don’t know much about chord theory, I always create and experiment by ear, so it’s hard for me to explain properly 😭.

The descending chromatic bassline is something I picked up from a song by Mili, a band I love. I often use this progression in dark and dramatic songs. Thank you so much for enjoying the song!
