Indie Danny Chase from The New Titans, The New Teen Titans, and other various comic appearances Headcanon based

     If anyone writes characters from, or knows anyone who writes characters from, The Movement, please please let me know-

     Got a lot done for my new blog today, gonna wrap up the works tomorrow (by that I mean either find a theme or do smth else) and make a couple of icons per muse and I should be good to start following people on there! <3

     If the Young Justice writers didn’t want me to literally spend 4 months drawing parallels between Gregor Markov and Batman, they would not have told me he used to pretend to be Batman as a child

     Also I’m still working on my new blog, which,,, ahem Gregor’s on it of course, but I’ve just been really slow due to work kicking my ass ;w; anyone have any good free promo template recs?

     I have Gregor Markov brainrot tonight which by proxy means Brion brainrot and can I just - it’s SO funny to me how many times Brion’s been falsely accused of murdering his family. Gregor and Ilona in the comics, then his parents in Young Justice, and probably even more that I’m unaware of. That’s like the 4 murders he DIDN’T commit

     Danny Chase is not a character who is meant to reach adulthood. His tragedy circles around the loss of innocence and youth - he’s a tragic character in essence, and while I do think it’s a lost potential that we never see Danny fully grown, I also think there’s a reason to it, besides writers forgetting he exists. He’s a tragic character, through and through, and I think it’s depressing yet narratively fitting we never see him grow up.

     I love that Danny exists in the Injustice Earth but all he does is lie to Superman’s face and promptly fucks off - but please talk to me about the NERVE of this kid to lie to SUPERMAN

     Had a customer ask if I knew about fireworks down at the lake and I told her yknow “Oh no, sorry, I don’t keep up with that stuff. I have autism and fireworks freak me out” and she started immediately doing that Old Lady UWUify Thing of “So brave!” and that stuff like ma’am I would genuinely rather you call me a slur.
