Teens Meet Online

The person you become next year doesn't have to be the person you are today. One decision can change your direction. One opportunity can reveal a gift you never knew you had. One act of courage can become the beginning of a completely different story. So don't let invisible limits write the ending before your story has really begun.

TMO is 10! There was one, and then ten, and then TEN thousand! Teens Meet Outreach (TMO) has grown in many ways over the last ten years, and this post tells it all – how it started, our many firsts, and what we've achieved so far. 10 on the 10th while reaching 10,000! So, sit tight. This is a 10-year summary of TMO, and we will tell our story ourselves.

The world teaches us to chase visibility. To be louder. To be bigger. To be impossible to ignore. But real importance isn’t always loud. Sometimes it looks like consistency. Sometimes it looks like kindness. Sometimes it looks like simply showing up and doing your part well. Everyone is important.

The TMO PadATeen project 2026 has now been concluded. What started in 2018 has now reached over 1800 girls in total, across eight locations in two countries. For our PadATeen outreach in Ibadan and Katsina this year, we distributed a total of 153 pads. Keep reading.

You don’t become an excellent teenager by chance. You become one by choosing growth over comfort, discipline over distraction and purpose over pressure. Our world needs more excellent teenagers who will lead, build, influence and transform our society, and you should be one of them.

Excellence isn’t about becoming someone else. It’s about slowly becoming more of who you were meant to be. “You don’t become excellent by being perfect - you become excellent by choosing to grow, even on the days you fall short.”

You’re not behind. You’re not failing. You’re just refusing to acknowledge how far you’ve come. Remember you're valuable and you can make the most of where you are right now.

Let us always reflect on the power of community and the impact we can make when we give together and grow together.  Who knows, you might be changing the lives of those around you. You're creating a safer, more supportive, and more compassionate community. You're showing that, together, we can overcome any obstacle and achieve greatness. If you choose this path, another does the same, and eventually, everyone else walks through this path, we definitely are going to see greatness and huge changes within our respective communities.

Emotional Intelligence simply refers to a person’s ability to understand and manage your emotions, as well as recognizing and responding wisely to the emotions of other people. So from this definition, emotional intelligence is a two-way thing: Understand and manage your emotions & Recognise and respond to people’s emotions
