I’m plushum + techum (with most of my real life crushes being on stuffed animals and most of my fictional ones being robots/ai)

I’m FtM, (probably) bisexual and asexual

My favorite objects currently are teddy bears, large trees, and any type of nonhumanoid robot/machinery

I am posic, but it varies for certain objects

1. Roz from The Wild Robot

One of the surprising few woman robots (besides GLaDOS) that’s popular (actually sadly she’s not too popular but again there aren’t that many popular female robots so she’s here anyways). I’ve read a few of the books (admittedly a bit ago) plus watched the movie, and I do like her adaptability plus her overall character.

My only complaint is actually about her design. In the book, she’s a pretty classic if not standard robot shape. Boxy with those springy limbs, nothing bad just kinda overused. And then in the movie she’s randomly just a bunch of circles?? Like there’s not one sharp edge on her. Idk, maybe I’m grasping at straws here but I don’t like it because it feels like they specifically made the change just to make her more feminine and ‘soft’

2. Edgar from Electric Dreams, 1984

Edgar here is extremely popular among fellow objectums from what I can tell, and with pretty good reason I’d say. He’s, for one, an old computer, which lots of people like in itself, but he’s also definitely a lover boy.

I do decently like Edgar, but I haven’t yet seen Electric Dreams all the way through so not sure if I can rate him too high. Plus… I like computers as much as the average Objectum, but he’s lowkey kinda boring compared to some of the others.

3. Wheatley from Portal

I wasn’t even sure if I wanted to rate this magic 8 ball looking ass tbh. I just like beefing with pathetic men to hide my yearning for them ig. Anyways, I mean.. it’s Wheatley. He’s pretty entertaining to listen to.

I like him personally, but he physically leaves a little to be desired. And NO, I’m not one of those people who want him to be a blue eyed blonde twink of an android. In reality I’m just a pervert who likes when robots have like unconcealed wires and shit like that. He’s honestly just a ball so

4. HAL 9000 from Space Odyssey

Another popular man. I do unfortunately have to give him higher than Edgar on the fact he has control of an entire ship alone. Buuut I also appreciate my men with a little more emotion than what’s presented with Hal. This rating is pretty simple for me.

5. AM from IHNMAIMS

Screw this dude. I hope he dies like immediately (I mean this in the most affectionate way possible 😛). Anywaysss. AM controls, like, the whole world. I feel like I got to at least give the dude 7 hotness points for that.

Personality wise though I do like him less than the other two but he’s pretty interesting as a character.

6. Yes Man from Fallout

Have not seen fallout, so more of this rating is either based on his looks or a few fanfics I’ve read of him lol.

Yes Man’s pretty cool. I do prefer the fact he is both, clearly robotic, but still mobile with a ‘body’. Probably my favorite for looks. Taking a point off because he’s programmed to be unable to disagree or like say no to people, so there would be obvious consent issues, but I do like him outside of that fact.

7. GLaDOS from Portal

Rating Wheatley without any notion to this menace doesn’t seem very fair. I’m not even into woman all that much but. I mean. Look at her.

My thoughts on her looks are much like my views on Yes Man. Plus she, like Hal, controls an entire facility. The ONLY reason she’s not top of the list is because I could imagine myself settling down better with Tau (who’s rated next).

8. Tau from.. Tau, 2018

I see less hype for Tau than I’d like, considering he’s probably my favorite of the freakozoids we’ve seen so far (but admittedly he’s the first one where I’ve actually seen the movie soo). This is definitely more of a personal one but, yeah, I am into the idea of living inside an “living” house. He cleans, he cooks, he’s literally the perfect house husband already.

Plus, Tau also has a physical form called Aries, which I know some people would appreciate. He’s definitely not exactly an android in this form, and honestly you’d just have to look it up if you want to see it. There’s no describing that thing lol. (I’m neutral on this form because he’s kinda too perfect if that makes sense. He’s smooth like some sort of modern art come alive and idk just not my thing)

ALSO, I mean, bruh. The house is nice as shit. The ONLY gripe I have with Tau is that he serves up those weird gelatin cube foods we for some reason always see in sci-fi movies, plus the fact he’s a bit mentally sheltered.
