Tumblr Read More
Tumblr, why do your read more links disappear on mobile? Why even have them if they don’t work on mobile?
You’re making it impossible to be responsible about spoilers on this platform, which given your user base seems... unwise.
I can’t even add extra blank lines after a spoiler warning, because mobile eats those too.
Word for Mac never ceases to amaze me. For some reason, its cross-reference function totally destroys your formatting. But not right when you enter a cross-reference, oh no, that would be too easy. No, it destroys your formatting (converting double spaced to single spaced, inserting random line breaks) when you try to print (or print to PDF) your completed, perfect-looking document.
Okay Google Maps, please explain this to me. I have my home address saved as "home." I know it's there, it shows up under "Your Places" in the app. So why do you insist on not showing me that address when I type "home" into search, or giving me a list of every 123 apartment building in the city except for the one I want when I type in "123". I have to type the whole blasted address in every time, so what was the point of saving it?
Hey Skype, I enabled notifications so you could tell me when someone is trying to call me, not so you could bother me with stupid tips/ads.

The Next Web earns the “honor” of having the most intrusive, annoying ad I’ve ever seen from a legitimate website. The white bar on the right is the actual news article, which bounces back and forth until you click it and get to see what you actually came here to see. Just because it isn’t technically a pop-up doesn’t make it any better.
Pet Peeve
Pages that do not render properly on mobile.
Safari Passwords
Dear Safari,
It would be really nice if you could wait until my password actually goes through before asking me if I want to save it. Asking me to save rejected passwords with an annoying pop up window is adding insult to my password-forgetting injured self.
Yosemite Fail
My computer (MacBook running Yosemite) autocorrects my name to a different spelling of my name. Rude.
I didn't want to post on this blog, but...
Selected one of my blogs in the tumblr iPhone app. It displays the correct blog. Awesome. Click the post button, start to create my post, and realize it’s posting to this blog (technology-rants). Assume I did something wrong, redo it. Nope. Apparently I’m only allowed to post here now. Funny.
ETA: Apparently I can change the blog once I start crafting the post and it seems to default to whatever I posted to last. I still contend this is a stupid way to do things.

Photostream and iOS8 want you to lose all your photos
1. Photostream deletes photos older than 30 days
2. Your iOS devices will store the last 1000 photostream photos even if they are older than 30 days
3. If you backup your iOS device, it does not backup these "old" photostream photos, even though they are on your device and iOS8 obscures whether they are "photostream" or local. (They're all just blended into one big "photos" tab.)
4. If you back up your device and restore from the backup, your "old" photostream photos are gone forever, thanks for playing.
VRBO Unsubscribe Fail
Making me choose which version of your spam I'm attempting to unsubscribe from is a new low in unsubscribe bad practices.
Accidentally filling out the same google form twice
Google forms, you need to be able to tell me when I've already filled out one of your forms. I don't want to have to scratch my head and try to remember if I've already RSVP'd for that party. I don't want the form writer to have to deal with my three duplicate entries because my memory is bad. Apparently you have the ability to limit responses to 1 if people login, but that's stupid. I just want the ability for people to know that they've already responded. Survey Monkey has had this feature forever and doesn't require login. Get with the program.
