Going through a really hard time right now. Stuck between existential dread and genocide.

I became of mother of two in 2022. 

Sometimes I wish I lived in a different dimension, sort of like a parallel universe. Where everything was, and I just was .. kinda there. Not monumentally contributing much but still present somehow. Where I could drink at noon, watch movies all day, and not have one ounce of responsibility except to exist.

Let’s go on a living spree.

I wonder how many feel this unbearable desire to be somewhere else. Continuasly in my life I’ve always felt as though I was meant to be in a different place, doing something else, living another life of some sort. It’s exhausting to say the least. Maybe that’s why I romanticize the past so much, even memories that aren’t mine. Just wishing and hoping to be somewhere far. Drinking scotch, smoking and listening to music. So long as it is not here. So long as I am not me.

August 1, 2017 I became a mother.

This song always seems to make it’s way back to my playlist, my favorite Radiohead song, & one of my favorite songs, period. It means so much to me. The entire In Rainbows album was a huge part of my life. & it still is. However, this song, this song reminds me of such a hazy incredible time in my life, the lyrics capture exactly what a night out for me was in my early 20′s. & It means so much more now, going into this new journey of being a parent. Listening to it is like going into a time capsule, to a time when things were just so easy and complicated at the same time. The best of times.

A year & a month of marriage. <3

Isn’t it wonderful that nearly everything in life is merely a phase? 

Working on a children’s book, & currently obsessing with my character Jude. Isn’t he just so freaking cute?

Super obsessed.

& so the year begins, as it does every time. Things didn't seem as though they were changing but looking back they've changed a lot. I have no heartbreak posts, no sad stories to relay. Just a really good year that went by way too quick.

I never experienced a love like this before. My heart beats faster at the sight of you. Your body drives me wild, your many faces keep me guessing. You are bold, light, centered and whatever I need you to be. I’ve been tracking my thoughts and they all point to you, my whole life has been leading to this moment. When justified, this feeling probably makes no sense— but I’ll be the ascender and descender of great lengths to simply stroke your curves. I kern for you & the baseline is that, I love you Typography.
