anyway imagine rocky being be so used to the idea that grace only uses two of his hands that when he sees grace using his toes to pick something up/uses his foot to nudge open a door (bc his hands are full) he’s all “WOW GRACE USE HANDS LIKE ERIDIAN! amaze amaze amaze!” and grace is like ???? what ???

then he’s like. oh. he doesn’t know i can do that sometimes. flashback to all the times he picked up clothes on the floor of his apartment w his toes just because he didn’t wanna bend down. he feels very validated. like, yes! someone appreciates how awesome it is that humans still have the ability to pick stuff up w their toes! of course it’s his alien friend. he goes on a tangent about human evolution and why we have said ability to grip with our toes exists. they have a blast.

except rocky keeps asking him why he doesn’t pick up more stuff that way. grace has to explain to him that humans don’t tend to actually pick things up w their toes and this is a weird grace thing that he does sometimes. rocky doesn’t care. he has questions. he wants to know the exact weight limit grace can lift with his toes. “hammer, question?” grace is tired.
