And mike is Jack due to his burnout in everyday living trying to be "perfect" HOWEVER. Worm is not everything mike wishes he could be! In fact MIKE is everything WORM wishes he could be! If there's one takeaway to be had from their argument after the municipal game it's that worm DESPRATELY yearns to be the kind of perfect that mike is but doesn't believe himself to be capable of it. Rounders Club is about this guy who gets into fights all the time and drinks all night hallucinating a burnt out lawyer who forces him to settle down but then neither of them get to be covered in blood so what's even the point. Petra is Marla nothing needs to be changed . Also unfortunately worm is exactly the type of toxic masculinity to miss the point of fight club entirely
