I lay between the earth and sky

I can feel myself sinking, but is it as suffocating as I thought?

Like as how a black hole pulls things in?

Would the morning doves still tweet in the morning as they do now?

Would the pattering of feet across the ground continue its rhythm?

How about the booming sounds of conversation throughout the class? Would that continue?

But something more -

Would I be forgotten?

Would the sounds of my voice still echo through your head?

That’s if; you’ve looked at me the way I’ve to you

(The Beginning)

Snow fell on their heads and the ground around

Blood poured out from his leg onto the wood of the bridge

His hands gripped onto her jacket, clawing and tugging

Useless sobs left him as he begged to not be alone

He was at her grace, for he’d always been the one to kneel to her empty power.

Her hand raised, the barrel still warm

He cried out louder, now clawing at the fabric

But as he felt the metal press against his forehead, all he could do was stifle himself and look up at the one he had treasured

All it took was a pull of a trigger and a loud bang.

It was quiet, the once pure white snow had now been dirtied with the blood of a boy. A boy after love

It was silent, the air once filled with sobs, now that all could be heard was the soft wind along the stream under that wood bridge.

As how the moon has embraced me

As how I remember your cold stare

As I close my eyes
