We haven't done a final count up yet but we didn't do too badly considering we only really started looking for donations a couple of weeks ago. Some people have been really generous, in particular JT who maybe weren't too sure at the beginning! FINAL RESULTS!!!
We came 10th.
The other teams did brilliantly on the scavenger hunt - really impressed with everyone's dedication and some great stories to hear when we returned to the hotel.
A bit disappointed with our result; it was great to hear that we really did have some of the 'veterans' worried. Result.
And the van! Well, everyone was very surprised we made it in one piece, people genuinely impressed with it's performance. Of course we never had any doubts, but there's still the drive home...

Day Four Done!
Easily the worst day of the rally. Probably saying that because we didn’t do very well :)
450 points were up for grabs in a scavenger hunt. It included getting photos of various scenarios such as a picture of a baby in our car... Seeing as we had a pretty suspect looking van it wasn't a surprise that one woman got pretty annoyed with us for even suggesting it!
We managed to get about half of the items including a picture of us with a cow and an orthodontists letter paper which was pretty impressive! Other items such as the Christmas bauble we're gained by swapping with other teams but overall we were a bit of a disappointment.
Get the final results later, but with only a 100 points separating 1st from 10th at the start of the day, a top three place is going to be tough.
The paper plane competition was pretty funny and kept us out of the bar but as expected we didn’t do great. Despite the technique, finesse, strength, and sheer determination Ben is displaying here, we came 7th :)

Day Three Done!
After adding in a bonus round from yesterday morning we started the day number one! With today over we’re now in third again, but no complaints with that.
Five more clues today. Unfortunately a late one last night made it hard to remember to take pictures but we saw some awesome places.
There was a paper plane throwing contest, which we didn’t completely suck at, but it means we're no longer at the top.
Big day tomorrow, lots to do with a scavenger hunt as well as the usual clue solving. Heard a rumour the rally veterans are a bit nervous. Great we have ruffled a few feathers :)
Third! The two teams ahead of us have done it every year, so we're getting plenty of support from our fellow newbies.
And skipping a stop again, we arrive in Angoulême! Nice view from our hotel window. Off for all important refuelling shortly.

Nantes to Angoulême. Clue destinations are never in a straight line, but at least we have a rough idea what direction to head in.
Day Two Done!
Started the day with a decent brekkie, a quick quiz, and then given our clues for the day. Worked out the destinations pretty quick and think we did okay with the clues.
