Since Aladdin is my grandson, I want the best for him. Kougyoku comes really close to that. 

Her character development was… interesting. And I think a lot of us can relate to her development, I certainly can. AlaKou was not given a lot of fan service, not like AliKou, but I still ship is a lot harder. I think Aladdin and Kougyoku deserves each other, in a good way.

Here’s the thing. HakuMor is wonderful. But like AliMor, it’s a bit too vanilla for me. And also the fact that I ship Hakuryuu with Judar and Judar only, has added to my disinterest in HakuMor.

Overall: 4/10, tame af so I’ve no interest.

As for me liking Hakuryuu, I’m conflicted with him. Because I’m an absolute piece of shit, I find it hilarious that Arba tortured him in the guise of motherly love. Poor kid was so traumatized he beheaded Maadra!

That’s what I find interesting about him. But he’s also…a cry baby. And also the fact that he reminds of Sasuke Uchiha turns me off.

Hakuryuu is alright. And I’ll tolerate him in small doses, or in the presence of Judar and Arba. On his own, he doesn’t interest me at all.

People being upset about Sinbad was predictable. I prepared myself for that. But what I didn’t prepare for was the magnitude of it all and the hypocrisy.

Sin had lost his body chapters ago, cmon people. You should’ve expected this. So I was a bit taken aback by the amount of complaints, when it was clear as day, Sinbad was never coming back into his human form and pretend he wasn’t gonna screw everyone over to become god.

Arba gets a lot of criticism because she got away with all the murder (which is valid), but by the same people who overlook Sinbad abandoning his generals, selling his soul to David, and wanting to kill everyone so he could become god and rule everything. But he flip flopped once he realized David was mean and wanted the throne to himself? Bitch, please.

You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become a villain, isn’t that the saying?

I’m gonna say about Sinbad the same thing I said when I got in trouble for throwing a calculator at a kid in school: he had it coming.

Sinbad’s end has a moral value, at least. That you should be satisfied with what you have. That certain things are out of your control, like the ultimate destiny, and you should make peace with it. Sinbad also had forgotten he was just an ordinary human being, not some messiah to establish New World Order. Sinbad’s death had meaning. 

No. They’re like siblings. Stop. 

SINJU.

Sinbad is probably the most shippable character in Magi. When I first joined the fandom about four years ago, Sinju was a dear ship of mine. Mostly because at that time, we didn’t have a lot of options. 

I read a couple of fanfics, too. But the all had the same plot:

▪️Sinbad is sleeping in his bed chambers.

▪️Judar comes through the window  which Sinbad conveniently leaves open every night.

▪️Judar gets fucked while trying to keep quite from Sin’s generals. 

▪️Judar leaves.

Every. Fucking. Fanfic. 

I ship Sinja a tad bit more than I ship Sinju, but it’s still good. I love how in the manga, every time Sinbad is fighting someone, Judar comes in outta nowhere like he has some sort of Sinbad radar, makes the situation worse, and then leaves. 

Overall: 7/10, Sinbad coulda locked him down, but he doesn’t know how to keep a Magi around unless the magi is a couple of century old grandpa with arsonist tendencies.

ALIKOU.

ALIMOR.

I’m gonna be blunt. Mor is WAY out of his league. She deserves better. Not someone with ambiguous relationship with a Kou princess with heavily implied romance. 

No. I do not accept this. 

Mhmm. I’m quite conflicted on this. 

AliKou is nice. It’s pure. And so…vanilla. Probably why I don’t dig it as much. Actually any ship with Alibaba in it is sure to be boring (to me). 

Another reason I don’t dig it as much is because I ship Kougyoku with my grandson Aladdin, just a tad bit more.
