Rest in Peace, Lexi
Team GloriousMayhem is reeling. The GISH community, really the whole world, has lost one of its brightest lights. Our Lexi may have been smol, but she was mighty, and Chuck help any who stood in her way. The things she accomplished during her GISHing career amazed and inspired us all (including Lexi herself, who, like many of us do, sometimes forgot just how much she was capable of).
Some of us were lucky enough to meet Lexi in person, but every one of us was lucky to have known her. Â We're all having trouble believing that our beautiful Italian spit-fire, who loved us all so fiercely and gave so much of herself to those around her, could have been so cruelly taken from her family, her friends, her partner, her pets, and her team. And yet, as is always the case, death is hardest on the living who are left to carry on.
But carry on we shall! Our team is hurting, but not broken. We will emblazon the world with Lexi's memory and each of us will strive to be worthy of being a part of her legacy. We will cry, and we will rage, but we will also smile, and laugh, and rejoice in the memories of our dear friend and the true heart of our team.
Lexi, as much as you loved words, they could never fully express how much each of us loved you, nor can they touch the depth of our sense of loss at your absence.
We love you. We miss you. We will tell your story.
After all: we're all stories, in the end.
