Detroit sports fans, we got you.
We currently have two Ford Field, home of the Detroit Lions pens in the shop. The brilliant blue hardware showcases the mixed resin and plastic seating center. Expertly turned and finished in our small family workshop.
We also have 2 Detroit Tigers baseball wooden pens. One is from the seating at the original Tiger Stadium, and the other is wood from box seating at Comerica Park. Both beautifully turned and finished smooth.
All of these pens use the "Parker" style refill ink, to last you a lifetime. Handmade in our small Metro Detroit family workshop, and shipped to your US door free.

Want to "visit" our craft fair table?
Hi! We are Kelly and Larry, and everything you see at our table was handmade on a lathe by one or both of us.
This table was from our favorite show of the year, Assassin's Black Market. It is a Renaissance and fantasy themed market; with all of the costuming, music, artistry, and even battle demonstrations one would hope to see at a festival. It's absolutely as amazing as it sounds.

Inspired by your aviation pens, I had a question. Or perhaps a few. 1) do you ever take specific commission requests? 2) if so, do you think it would be possible to commission pens with parts from other airplanes (specifically B-36, B-53, C-130)? 3) if so, what kind of cost would 4 such pens commissioned look like? My grandfather was a pilot in the Air Force for decades and those were the planes my mother remembers him flying primarily and if it were possible, I'd love to give my mom and my aunts/uncles pens with parts of the planes like he flew. But I know that is probably a big ask, so I completely understand if this is a great big no. I adore the pens and crochet hooks I've purchased from you before and love all the things you make.
Hi there! I will look into those specific airplanes and see what I can get my hands on. Our custom work is usually 4-6 weeks lead time, depending on sourcing supplies and how backed up we are in the shop. I adore this idea, and I will see if I can make it happen! Thanks so much @gnomer-denois
History and aviation are special interests in our house, and sometimes that trickles down to our work.
These 3 pens are all made with a small piece of their aircraft embedded in the acrylic. We have a B-2, a Huey, and a B-17.
For our history buffs, we have George Washington's Boyhood Home, with a small piece of embedded wood. We also have a postage stamp featuring the Vietnam Veterans Memorial.

Great question! All of our seam rippers actually flip right inside of the handle for storage.

A departure from my usual content, but a parenting win to share.
