Authors note- I am soooo nervous to post this!! it has been like a year and a half since I wrote anything so forgive me if it's terrible, any and all comments are appreciated. Adam has been on my mind since I watched Frankenstein (2025) for the first time in November so I just had to get this out.

a = affection (how affectionate are they? how do they show affection?)

★ Adam craves affection, the world has been extremely cruel to him. So whenever he meets you, his companion, his world, he craved the attention he has never gotten and shows it back to you as well.

★ Loves hold you, you holding him, kisses, locking pinkies together, cuddles. Any type of affection he loves.

★ In the beginning I believe he would be a little reserved with affection just because how little he was shown since he was created. Even after getting to know you he would still be hesitant just because he would constantly be asking if it is something you wanted as well. Why would you want to be with a monster? BUT once you reassure him 100 times you are not scared of him and he is what you want he would start showing more affection.

★ Also in the beginning you would have to be the one to initiate most affect because he does not want to frighten you, but once he is comfortable, he is constantly touching you. Reading a book? Sit beside him please :) Hell sit in his lap for all he cares, as long as you are near him.

b = best friend (what would they be like as a best friend? how would the friendship start?)

★ To be with him would mean that you two understand each other completely so yes he would be the best best friend ever.

★ I do not see him beginning a relationship without being best friends first, the world of romance is new to him and again his limited interactions with the world and people have not been overly nice so meeting you and immediately getting into a relationship would not happen.

★ For even the friendship to begin, it would take some time. Much like the friendship with the old man, he watched for many months before entering the home. i feel like a similar situation would happen with you as well, he wants to reach out and have that companionship but is frightened so he watches and waits.

★ so basically what i am saying is to be with him would also mean you two know each other like no body else has, so besties.

c = cuddles (do they like to cuddle? how would they cuddle?)

★ yes

★ Anyway that you can cuddle he would love it.

★ The only way he does not prefer cuddling is him laying on top of you. Even if you beg and reassure him you are okay and you can breathe, he is still very skeptical but does have a very hard time saying no to you

d = domestic (do they want to settle down? how are they at cooking and cleaning?)

★ He wants more than anything a companion for the rest of his life but since his father maker denied him such, he will take as much time with you as the fates allow.

★ Cleaning, while at first he does not know much, he picks up very easily. With his height he can reach all the places you cannot. Haven't dusted the tops of the bookshelves in god knows how long because you don't want to drag a ladder out? He's got it.

★ Cooking? maybe a struggle at first when you are trying to teach him but he will catch on. Then once he feels like he is a good enough cook, he would surprise you with meals.

★ Surprising you with breakfast in the mornings when he knows you will have a busy day ahead of you TᴖT hes so cute

e = ending (if they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

★ It would have to be something insane for him to end things with you because of how long it took for him to build trust and get into a relationship in the first place

★ BUT if he did have to end things it would be a very emotional and hard thing to do, I could imagine it being a scenario if the towns people found out about him and he had to leave to keep you safe. It would kill him to do it but to keep his love safe then he would do it.

f = fiance(e) (how do they feel about commitment? how quick would they want to get married?)

★ Marriage is something that he never thought was an option for him, and once you are with him you two are just. He views you as everything, his world.

★ Bring with Adam would mean you could not be together in normal society. People would view him as a monster, so in theory you would have to live somewhere secluded away from most people.

★ With that being said even though to him you two are married and each other's person he would have no problem with wanting to get married.

★ I imagine it would be a wedding just between you two in the forest. Making vows with only the trees and any forest animals that are curious to watch.

g = gentle (how gentle are they, both emotionally & physically?)

★ He tries to be the most gentle with you, you are his whole world, and he has dealt with a great deal of rage and pain. Why would he want to inflict that on you?

★ Not to say the relationship would be perfect all the time yes it would and you two would not have disagreements, but knowing his past and yours, you two would try to be gentle with each other.

★ Physically he is very aware of his strength. He would treat you like glass that could break at the slightest touch at the beginning of your relationship/friendship. If he seen any bruise left behind that was the cause of him it would destroy him. It would be very difficult for him to be rough with you even if you're begging him

h = hugs (do they like hugs? how often do they do it? what are their hugs like?)

★ Hugging with Adam is like you are grounding yourself back to earth. Like he is the only safe and solid this on this planet.

★ Yes, he very much enjoys hugs. Again, with his past and the experiences he had up until you there was only so much kindness shown to him, so it is something he is not used to receiving or giving.

★ He would not want to pester you with constantly wanting to hold you in his arms or have you hold not that you would be complaining but he does like hugs often.

i = i love you (how fast do they say the l-word?)

★ Until you say it it would not have been something he had heard to him, and he had heard it in passing he would not have understood the meaning until it was explained to him.

★ You would have to be the one that says "I love you" first

★ BUT that does not mean he has not said it in other words! He would have expressed his feelings and devotion many times, all with the same intent of I love you but not that exact wording and not because he didn't want to just because he was unfamiliar with the phrase I love you.

★ But these feelings of love would have to be already there for the relationship to turn into something romantic, and he would have to be sure these feelings were reciprocated by you as well.

j = jealousy (how jealous do they get? what do they do when they're jealous?)

★ Oh he gets jealous, I don't believe it would be often since you two would probably not be around society often but for the sake of this headcanon there is another man that is around you.

★ He would make that growl sound you know which one and stare at the person until they left you alone or until you conveyed to him that it was okay.

★ He is very protective over you, not in a negative way, but in a way that he knows you are his and he is yours.

k = kisses (what are their kisses like? where do they like to kiss you? where do they like to be kissed?)

★ At first they are clumsy, due to him having literally no experience. A peck on the cheek or forehead that would be fine but on the lips? He's lost.

★ So you would have to be the one that teaches him, and if you have little to no experience...well you'll learn together.

★ His favorite place to be kissed? He would never admit it but on his scars. Laying on his chest and rubbing soothing patterns on his flesh and occasionally pressing gentle kisses to the scars that run across his chest. He melts. Also big fan of kisses on the top of his head.

★ His favorite place to kiss you? Anywhere he can. Once he has learned how to kiss and is comfortable giving and receiving affection, he kisses you any chance he gets. Reading together by the fireplace? He will reach over occasionally and grab your hand and press gentle kisses to your flesh. Laying in bed at night after a long day? All he wants is to cuddle with his love, stealing kisses while you are going over the days activities.

l = little ones (how are they around children?)

★ Nervous. Not that he doesn't like children, just he has not been around them.

★ What if he scares them? What if the accidently hurt them? They are so small and fragile. He would be even more aware of himself if he was around children.

m = morning (how are mornings spent with them?)

★ He is used to rising early rather than sleeping in. He would wake up early and watch you for a moment, just taking in your sleeping form and watching your chest rise and fall with each breath you take while sleeping. Appreciating how peaceful the moment is.

★ Then he would slowly move out of bed without waking you and try to attend to any chores he has taken upon himself much like he did for the old man and his family.

★ Most mornings when you wake up you will find him outside working but on occasion he will come back to bed and lay with you until you wake up.

n = night (how are nights spent with them?)

★ Most nights are spent cuddled up in bed with Adam reading books to one another. You take turns, one time you are reading to him and the other he is reading to you. He will sometimes still struggle with some words and needs your help with pronunciation.

★ Nights with Adam feel like it is only just the two of you on earth.

o = open (when would they start revealing things about themselves? do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

★ I feel like there would be some obvious questions in the beginning because he does not appear like everyone else. So there would have to be at least a small understanding of his situation and what he has endured.

★ But to actually get into EVERYTHING he's been through it would take some time. He would have to trust you fully to go into the details of his past.

p = patience (how easily angered are they?)

★ With you? I do not believe would anger easily. You are not like Victor, you understand and are gentle with him.

★ Since the death of his father he can truly live and why would he want to live this new life full of more unnecessary anger.

★ It would have to be something crazy for him to be angry at his love.

q = quizzes (how much would they remember about you? do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

★ Remembers everything. He notices small things you may not even notice about yourself. Like the small signs of you being anxious but are hiding because you don't want him to worry about you. Or when you make a rare trip together to a market and your eyes linger just a second longer on something you would like but is too expensive or would never let yourself indulge in getting.

★ He is immortal and you are not, so he knows at some point he will have to say goodbye so while he has you, he will remember everything he can.

r = remember (what is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

★ Most of his memories with you are his favorites, because they are all new to him. He is a new free man, allowed to live as he sees fit and since he has very little good memories from before you it is hard for him to pick an absolute favorite.

★ Or maybe once he realized that you truly understood him. That to you he was not just his makers creation, he is a person deserving of love just like anyone else.

s = security (how protective are they? how would they protect you? how would they like to be protected?)

★ VERY

★ I mean he has already shown his protective nature with Elizabeth and with everything that happened there, since those actions took place he would be even more protective over his love. He knows because he cannot die that his time with you is just temporary so he will try with everything in his being to keep you safe while he has you, he does not want to lose another person that truly understands him so soon.

★ In reality there is not much physical protection you could offer, he is already 7 foot tall and has insane strength. However, being with him you would be protective by nature. Especially once you find out all he has been through so while you may not be able to throw a man across a room and break a bed you still try to protect him in any way you can.

t = try (how much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

★ Like I mentioned before in M= mornings he usually wakes before you, even if you are an early riser to tend to chores he has taken upon himself. So yes, he puts a lot of effort into everyday tasks.

★ While I write this and picture how you would have to live, it would have to be a situation like the old man's where you are mostly secluded from society so a traditional date like a night on the town would not be possible. He would still like to do special things for you, like once he learns how to cook making one of your favorite meals.

★ He puts a lot of effort into making sure your life together is enjoyable as humanly possible and in return you do the same for him.

u = ugly (what would be some bad habits of theirs?)

★ While he is truly trying to live after the events of his father's passing, there would be moments of doubt and insecurity that come up for him. If a situation occurred and made him act out in rage or feel how he did before, It would bother him. Maybe he was a monster? In those moments he would try to distance himself, believing he was not deserving of your kindness and in those moments, you would have to reassure him that no one is perfect, and he is a good man.

★ So maybe not totally a bad habit since it does not happen extremely often

★ Soooo maybe he forgets to put the lid on the butter dish LOL

v = vanity (how concerned are they with their looks?)

★ While he is not overly concerned with his looks, he does very much like his hair and would not like to cut if not necessary. It is something that HE grew, something that he made with his body not something put together by Victor.

w = whole (would they feel incomplete without you?)

★ Even though your time together in the grand scene of his life is short, when you depart from this life you would be taking apart of him as well. He would love you entirely like no one had before and in return you as well. So it would take him a long time after your death to feel any sort of 'normal' again. Decades after your passing you would still weigh heavy on him.

★ So in simpler terms, yes

x = xtra (a random headcanon for them.)

★ He purrs. Whenever you are cuddling and playing with his hair or rubbing soothing patterns on his skin, he purrs.

★ Also does not like swimming, after the events that transpired with his father, he is very wary in bodies of water.

★ With swimming, fire as well. I feel like that is pretty self-explanatory.

y = yuck (what are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?)

★ In general it would be he does not like anyone that is cruel or hateful, unwilling to understand things that are different than them.

z = zzz (what is a sleep habit of theirs?)

★ He tends to curl into himself as he sleeps by himself, but when he is cuddled up to you, he tries to sleep as close as humanly possible. He prefers you laying on his chest, wrapped around him so he can feel your chest ride and fall with his. To know you are truly there and not some figment of his imagination.

★ Also secretly likes being the little spoon sometimes.
