Teal rubbed her eyes and gently reached for blues hand. Her tiny cheeks were colored a slightly purple tint from the fever and she took her hair buns out letting her shoulder length hair obscure her face.
“….i don’t know what happened I was fine then bleh….”
"Oh my dear...."
He gently puts a hand to her forehead, finding thay she is burning up. He summons the rain cloud, letting the water pour down onto her. It helped ease the symptoms a bit but that was it.
"Let's get you to bed, you should be resting."
He started wondering if Green would be willing to make something to eat for the poor girl.
The tiny rain shower helped her feel a bit better but she still wasn’t feeling great
“Okay sounds good to me” she said rubbing her eyes. Teal did not let go of Blue’s hand the entire time they were walking
“Hey blue? Are we there yet?” She asked. Granted no the journey to their destination was not far from where they initially were it felt like an eternity to the small child
"Almost, we're not far."
He didn't have a spare room, just one he and Yellow shared so that will have to do. He scoops her up into his arms, bringing her to the soft bed with silky blankets. He lays her down, pulling the covers up onto her.
"Do you think you have an appetite to eat? I could get you some soup "
She looked up and shook her head. “It’s okay I’m not hungry” she said rubbing her eyes again she took off the orange pair of glasses that sat on her face and set them off to the side.
“Blue? Can I ask you something though?”
'What is it dear?" He gently sits on the edge of the bed, watching over her for a moment.
“Do you ever get scared when you think about being alone? Like if you’re all by yourself and can’t find yellow or anyone?” She rolled over on herself and pulled the blanket up to her nose.
Her eyes were welling up with tears and she just tried to hide the tears from blue.
He knew this question was going a lot deeper than it seemed. He reaches over and brushes her hair with his fingers. "I suppose. Being alone isn't a fun thing. What brings this on?"
I just woke up one day it was raining and no one was there. I think I had parents but I don’t think I do anymore” she tried to explain it the best she could but it was confusing.
“I don’t wanna lose you too” she said crying into the sleeve of her sweater
"My dear...don't cry. It's as Flowery tells me, tears are for weddings."
He moves a hand to wipe away her tears. His heart swelled with feelings he wasn't used to. "You won't lose me, I am here."
“……. You’re right” she said sitting up and joining blue by sitting next to him on the bed.. she rested her head against Blue’s arm slightly and closed her eyes.
“I will protect you and yellow from the bad thing”
