1) Just curious do you know the approximate word count for writers as of yet:

Not yet! One of the questions we will be asking in our Interest Check is: What word count do writers think is an appropriate length? Based on those answers we will decide a final word count!

2) Is this a Spanish event too? :o

It is a multi-lingual event! Two of our mods are fluent in both Spanish and English, and we're excited by the chance to encourage both parts of the fandom to create amazing TDDK content together. Art is a medium that isn't limited by language. Reverse bangs start with artists creating concepts, and writers springboarding off of those, so it gives a unique opportunity for multi-lingual pairings as well as same-language pairs. We hope that you're just as excited as we are to see this event come together!

1) "I am open to working with someone who speaks another language but would need to have a translator and can only write in English." 

That's perfectly fine! Two of our mods are fluent in both Spanish and English and willing to work as translators for anyone who needs one.

2) "How will you be moderating NSFW access? Will anyone be required to disclose personal information?" 

No, the mod team will NOT be asking anyone to disclose their personal information for this event. We will be working on a trust basis with age disclosure, and  only requiring a general range answer of "16+" or "18+" (note that accepted age ranges for the event will depend upon the final answer of this IC). If we find anyone abusing that trust, they will be kicked immediately and banned from the event.

3) "The bang is taking place over 5-7 months but is a winter release?"

Depending on the chosen release date, the mod team may lengthen or shorten certain time periods in the schedule to hit the intended release date. Our current mod team adopted this project from the  previous head mod and are doing a bit of a relaunch - hence the rearranged schedule. We still intend to have a 5-7 month creation period for our contributors.

4) "I'm ESL myself, so I'm okay with working with someone whose first language isn't also English! But, if possible, I'd like that my future partner would write the fic in English, since it's a language I'm fluent at."

Hello! We’ve gotten a few Curious Cat questions and we are sharing the answers with you.

1) Will there be any content restrictions for this event?

Hi! Thank you so much for your question. This bang will allow for all content, since we don't want to limit creativity! The Mod team is planning to separate content in different channels to have them contained and to ensure that people only view content they are comfortable with. We will just ask from the participants to properly tag works and post/ask questions in their sphere-related channel.

Yes! The Mods themselves agree with the idea of "even if we don't ship it, we don't condone ship hate". We think it's only fair to give everyone the opportunity to participate in their own creative way!

3) Will writers have to write a fic based on the art instead of the other way around?

Hello! Thank you for reaching to us. Yes, that's exactly it. Regular bangs have writers submit summaries for artists to choose from and create something for, but since this is a reverse bang, now artists will submit a sketch for writers to choose from and write a story on. We hope you're as excited as we are for this event!

4) When will details be provided about the schedule and guidelines?

Hi! The Mod team is actively working on getting this figured out! We will be releasing an interest check on November 8th and based on the answers we will update all information about any possible changes in our socmed accounts. As soon as we solidify the schedule and planning we will let every one know.
