❛ 𝐬𝐡𝐞’𝐬 𝐠𝐨𝐧𝐞. ❜  he speaks, hoping that saying it would remove the great weight from pressing down on his chest. but somehow, in just saying two words to rex, the weight got stronger, threatening to crush his ribs and lungs.  ❛ ahsoka — she’s . . . ❜  voice cracks, gaze drops to stare down at the ground. he’s shaking his head.  ❛ she left the order . . . she’s gone. ❜

eyes  glare  through  tinted  visors  of  his  mandalorian-esque  helmet.  this  was  rex,  no  doubt,  but  his  trust  had  been  shot  dead  and  buried  alongside  any  hope  of  his  brothers  making  order  66  out  alive.  he  wonders,  fleetingly,  whether  rex  knows  it’s  him  ;  cody  had  spent  months  adapting,  changing  his  clone  armour  to  represent  something  similar  but  enough  that  fallen  clones  won’t  recognise  it  -  including  a  voice  distorter.   ❛  you  seem  lost.  ❜ 

“    captain   rex.    ”       suddenly   and   unexpectedly   nearly   overcome  ,    bail   glances   away   and   clears   his   throat.      it   isn’t   as   if   he   had   ever   been   particularly   close   to   rex  ,    but   it   comes   as   such   relief   to   see   life   in   his   expression  ,    not   the   horrifying   blankness   that   has   taken   up   residence   in   most   clone   troppers’   eyes.       “    ahsoka   told   me  ...      i’m   glad   to   see   that   you   are   well.    ”

i want to write a little shoutout for antonina alias @cprex / @adstellar . she is a fellow german speaking friendo who i had the honor to meet earlier this year ( before it went to shite ). antonia is not only super talented and so dedicated to every of her star wars characters ( listen she is the mom of the fandom , despite i am her tumblr mum ) , but also such a caring , loving and radiantly positive being that talking to her is a pure delight . i am so glad to call her a friend , to have her on my dash and in my life that even a fandom that used to scare me a lot became something i dared to dip my toes in . i will always and forever love and admire her to bits
