Late night art making. Wanted to make a personal piece. A personal piece about what it was like growing up for me. For those who suffered emotional abuse, now, growing up, whenever. I want to do more of these, they help me explain.  I couldnt sleep, and in specific remembering one of the car rides home with my mother. I wanted to connect with her so badly, but she was different, and I never figured it out as a kid.  My mother is bipolar, manic depressive, has narcissistic personality disorder, and is a pathological liar as part of a web that kind of connects all of those things.  

I had begun self harming, because of her abuse and my dad’s neglect.  She grabbed hold of me at a stoplight, I remember the street, the signs on the road, the color of the trees, and she screamed at me  “ You cant hurt my daughter” when she discovered the cuts. 

I had never felt so alone in my life, then at that moment, when I felt so much like an object, and realized I was a prop for her, and my dad’s life.

Ohhh boy, starting a new game soon and I got to make a character! Im not Dming for once!   I made a Air Genasi Trophy hunting Ranger named Zephyr, shes super rad <3  

I really wanna open commissions for these kinda portraits. Really considering some inexpensive slots.

I had the pleasure of getting to exchange art with some close friends of mine.  This was a surprise portrait for Sterling Hundley, a person who reminds me daily through his efforts to be who I want to be and love the work I make.
