My name is Danian (Dani) and I’m a 28 year old Trans Man (AFAB FTM) who is sharing their experiences through TikTok and YouTube to bring education and light to those who need representation/answers. I am seeking help and support to fund my Top Surgery procedure. I have been quoted $9,000 up to $13,000 for this. Most of my funds will be used for travel and boarding as well as the surgery. Receipts would be provided to all who donate in good faith. It will take me about 3 years to save up on my own, but my dream is to get this surgery **before my 30th birthday.

About me and why this surgery means so much to me: I have known I was a Trans Man since I was four years old. My first dysphoria moment of my life was on my one and only vacation at 6 years old where I had to start wearing a shirt while swimming as well walking around the house— as a child. The feeling of those moments never left me. I felt my body was betraying me. I was confused. I would often punch my chest to try to stop them from developing. However, they turned into a much bigger problem than I could’ve thought. Having a DDD chest has caused me immense back pain, as well as difficulty breathing. It has put strain on me when I walk as I can feel them pressing onto my lungs, causing me to internally huff with each step. I feel very self conscious and hyper aware of my breathing with movement which makes me always hold my breath when I’m walking past people. The pain between my shoulder blades is ruining my posture.

My hopes of outcomes for your donations: My goal of the fundraiser is to not only get me surgery, but to help others get this surgery as well. ** All amount exceeding my $7,000 goal will be used to donate to other GFM campaigns for transgender care/procedures. These funds are not strictly tied to FTM’s as I will be donating to all LGBT folks in need of these life saving surgeries. I will be posting receipt confirmations to this campaign every time I donate using excess funds.
