Every one acts according to his own character

Ka’b reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The parable of the believer is that of a tender plant. The wind sways it at times, and it returns to balance at times. The parable of the hypocrite is that of a cedar tree. It continues to be rigid until it is suddenly uprooted in a single moment.”

Indeed, with me is my Lord; He will guide me

Sahl ibn Sa’d reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The parable of myself and the Hour is like these two,” and he separated between his middle and index fingers. Then, the Prophet said, “The parable of myself and the Hour is like a man dispatched to this people at the forefront of it, and when it is feared the glimmer of his shirt might arrive first, it comes upon you! It comes upon you!”

Jabir reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The parable of the believer is that of a planted stalk. It stays rigid in one moment and bends down in another moment. The parable of the unbeliever is that of a cedar tree. It continues to stay rigid until it falls down without realizing it.”

Certainly will the believers have succeeded: They who are during their prayer humbly submissive

And those who, when they commit an immorality or wrong themselves [by transgression], remember Allah and seek forgiveness for their sins - and who can forgive sins except Allah ? - and [who] do not persist in what they have done while they know.

Abdullah ibn Umar reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The parable of the believer is that of a palm tree. Whatever you take from it will benefit you.”

And whoever is patient and forgives - indeed, that is of the matters [requiring] determination.
