Tattered Branches Aren't A Reason to Say No

You are all the things I dreamt come to life. You hold me like there's no one else in the world. And I know in my heart there may as well be no one else. And when you look into my eyes I know that you mean it when you say you want to stay with me for as long as we can. And I mean it when I say I think we can forever. You notice everything nobody has ever noticed... that every day I wear my hair just a little different, and each time I wear something you've never seen before. You think I'm beautiful all the time, even in the morning when may make up is gone. I don't just love you for the way you love me though. I love you for who you are too. Even when you're upset or angry, I love those parts of you too. And you say you never thought you'd be able to tell a woman you loved her this young in your twenties yet here we are. And I never thought I'd be able to love so unconditionally and so wholly. But I do. And it isn't it strange how in this vast, sometimes seemingly hopeless world, two people can find each other and complete each other as we have? You complete me. You share my thoughts and my heart beats. And I will never wish for more than what I have with you. Because with you I have everything.

A best friend and a lover. A partner, a teacher. You are a thousand first and a thousand more lasts. You are everything. You are a fantasy come true. You're my late night cuddles and my morning shower sex. You're my shoulder to cry on and my baby to hold when you need to cry. I share everything with you. The stories of my past and hopes for my future. The weird thoughts I have. My emotions and my issues. My body. I never knew what love was before you came into my life.

Perfect last night before the fall semester starts and summer is over. He made dinner, we drank and watched tv, we fooled around in the shower, shared some frozen yogurt, and fooled around in bed till passing out. Perfect. And I know we'll survive another semester of college and continue to grow and fall more in love.
