My heart is breaking. We still need $920 to buy the medications that keep my mother and father alive. They are elderly, sick, and depend on these medicines every day. I try to stay strong in front of them, but inside I am terrified. I cannot bear the thought of watching their health decline simply because we cannot afford the treatment they need.💔

I keep staring at the remaining amount and wondering how I can save them. Yet if only 37 people donated $25 each, we could reach our goal. For many, $25 may be a small expense, but for my parents it could mean receiving the medicine that helps them continue their fight against illness.

Please, I am begging you, do not scroll past our plea. Imagine your mother or father needing medication and you being unable to provide it. Imagine watching them grow weaker while feeling completely helpless. That is the reality I am living every day.😔

Every donation, no matter how small, brings hope to my family. Please help us protect my parents and give them a chance to continue their treatment. We are desperately holding on, praying that compassionate people will hear our cry and stand beside us in this difficult moment.🙏💔😔

As I explained in similar posts last year, I am a disabled lesbian who has struggled with homelessness most of her adult life, and my roommate is a disabled trans lesbian. The two of us have had to rely on EBT in order to eat, and Medicaid for my medications and doctor visits.

It's past the first of the year, meaning that on top of not having EBT anymore, I also don't have my Medicaid. Things are very tight right now, and I don't have much else I could sell for anything to stay afloat outside of my laptop, which I still need for writing.

I've made this post since the thread I had last year stopped getting donations at all.
