Do not throw souls!

Finally finished scanning the first episode of Madoka. The tape's definitely old and a bit abused, but I love the retro vibe it gives off. It's so cool seeing all the pan and scan techniques the distributors used to get a 16:9 show to work on 4:3!

I don't know why it took me until today to realize that the soul gems are meant(?) to look like eggs

(I found more detailed design sheets of the holy quintet magical girl outfits so I edited this post to replace them only the real ones know what the post originally looked like)

I figured out how to get MPV's gif creator working so I made a couple of gifs from the Rebellion intro of shots that I liked, the dancing one is pretty compressed and short due to file size limits but I have them uploaded on Klipy at a higher quality so it should be on there soon but just wanted to share them now.
