Despite their reputation as the kids of once world-famous idols, which might have mattered in a normal school, their private school does not really care. Everyone’s parents there are someone, rich, famous, influential, etc. Because of that, the two of them ended up having a much more normal school life than they ever would at a public one.

Hana is popular, but not because of parents. It is because Hana is smart (we don’t talk about math), pretty, and carries self-assurance.

Su-Jin is… different. Labeled the weirdo. Does not know how to make friends, keeps to herself, and when not keeping to herself, gets too loud, obsessive over interests and the fangs while smiling do not help either… beside all that Hana doesn’t care, calling it ‘the quirky demon genes ‘✨

So, did anyone ever bully Su-Jin?

Su-Jin would have been an easy target. The reason that never really became a thing is Hana. Her being an older student and popular did the trick. Her wrath does not come in the form of violence, it comes in the form of words. Ro always says that before doing something unfathomable (like Abby) or Mira)) solving problems through communication is more productive. Hana listened.

Hana: I don’t threaten violence. I promise humiliation.
