I made it through the 1st Stage of the Duelist Cup 2026 Mar with a Infernoble Knights Deck.
I played Master Duel for the first time in a year. Since the Duelist Cup was taking place, I decided to give it a try.
There were a lot of new archetypes I wasn’t familiar with, but it was fun to play a card game again after so long! I’m going to be busy at the end of the month, so I might not be able to play in the 2nd Stage.

I was ranked number one in the world for Gajau catches in 2025, so I wrote a piece about my Gajau fishing. I hope this blog post proves useful to someone.
⚫︎ Location and Environment, time
Gajau frequently appears in the morning during the Scarlet Forest's plenty.
While Gajau can appear in several locations, I only fished in Area 17.
The number of Gajau appearing in Area 17 is random, ranging from 0 to 4. After catching all the Gajau, move to an area other than the Scarlet Forest and then return to make Gajau appear again. When daytime arrives, rest in the tent until the morning of plenty.
⚫︎ Fishing Preparation
Having outdoorsman skills makes fishing easier. Since monsters occasionally appear in Area 17, I countered them with earplugs and Dung Pod.
⚫︎How to Fish
Use a Duster Rig to catch Gajau.
Cast the lure slightly beyond where the fish are located, then reel in slowly.
Once the fish notices the lure, pull it toward you as much as possible before landing the catch.
Sometimes it takes time for the Gajau you've attracted to bite the lure. However, as shown in the video, when attracting fish, you can stop reeling in for a moment and then reel in a little to trigger the fish to bite.
Once you get the hang of it, you'll start catching a lot.
⚫︎Tips
There are two actions that proved useful for me while fishing.
・When you're holding a fishing rod, doing a forward roll allows you to put the fishing rod away.
It's convenient because you can stow your fishing rod and move at the same time. Since you can start running quickly, it saves time when you're fishing a lot. Since Gajau spawns at both ends of Area 17, this was helpful during movement.
・If a fish other than your target bites the lure, press the × button to cut the line. (Only possible with big fish)
