i want a plot where MUSE A is a wealthy gorgeous socialite, their mother constantly setting them up with wealthy partners because she doesn’t believe her child can get a partner that she would approve of without her. but MUSE A has a best friend, MUSE B a bartender just barely getting by, whose been with MUSE A through all the heartbreak and annoyance of their mother constantly setting them up with boring dates that only talk about themselves. MUSE B has feelings for MUSE A but doesn’t feel good enough for them/ knows that their mother wouldn’t approve. more or less MUSE A starting to think and wonder why they aren’t dating MUSE B, since they’ve always been there for them and seem to actually like them for more than just their beauty and wealth

can i have a ‘you’re dating my best friend but he’s kind of an asshole and he cheated on you so i’m comforting you and now you’re kissing me and i’m kissing you back and oH SHIT ARE WE HAVING SEX ???’ and then the morning after ‘oh you forgave him that’s cool i just like you a lot and kinda wanna hook up again but that’s cool’ plot

One thing I haven’t seen anyone mention yet about the FCC disaster is how it’s going to affect LGBTQ teens. If they repeal net neutrality, then your ISP is going to be charging you separate extras for each website you access, right? Which means they’re going to TRACK which websites you access, because of course they will, how else are they going to know what to charge you for? Which means your internet history is going to SHOW UP ON YOUR MONTHLY INTERNET BILL. You know, the ones the parents see every month, in a household with teenagers. So suppose you have a gay teen, living in a household where it isn’t safe to come out? You know, like the one I was in? The one my husband was in? They now would not be able to look up any information, use any resources, or contact any allies online. You know, the thing I did. The thing my husband had to do. That option is completely off the table if Net Neutrality goes down.

childhood best friends slash roommates who get immensely drunk one night and have sex and then just continue to keep doing it because that’s the only way they think they can have each other. spoiler: they’re both in love with each other and have been for years, but don’t wanna say shit about it because they’re afraid of losing each other. cue angst.
