Upon entering Tarkieâs room, Meileen immediately plopped herself on his bed. âOoooh, do you fancy her?â Meileen asked in a teasing tone before rolling her eyes at Tarkie. âYou see yourself as just a guy who likes to do theater, but I see you more than that. Youâve got a lot of potential in you, Grandpa.â She said before smiling warmly. âSetting bias aside, if only Iâm into theater and performing, I would kill to be your leading lady in every show.â Meileen looked at Tarkie sincerely before flashing him a comforting smile. âYou have to stop thinking so low of yourself. The fact that youâve won this cold heart of mine is enough piece of evidence that youâre as perfect as I make you out to be.â
Tarkie rolled his eyes as he threw his bag on his side of the room, his roommate doing a vanishing act for the last few weeks. âI think sheâs a nice person.â he said without trying to show too much interest. Tarkie sat down next to Mei, smiling softly. âThnaks. You know I try to be confident.â
