Sometimes i think back to when I first played Danganronpa. In 2021, I used to read the weirdest fics I could find on Ao3 with one of my friends at the time, and with another, we'd vent about how our favorite characters were victims in the early chapters and how they should've survived... basic dra fan behavior pretty much. I also remember trying to make a fangan with other friends (we were spreading), I even did all of their designs and stuff, I was really proud (it didn't go anywhere obviously).
With the announcement of 2x2, I've been playing all of the games again and fully embracing that my hyperfixation from around 5 years ago is probably back, and in a time in my life where I haven't been feeling the best, I'm just happy to have something to enjoy. Not only that, but being able to draw and post said drawings online, and having so many people enjoy them, genuinely makes me feel so grateful. Even if I kind of miss those times, I'm also very happy about where i am today and having the confidence to post these drawings online, and maybe some day being able to see how far I've come (both personally and artistically!).
