Choerosaurus dejageri, the permian therocephalian with a funny face.
I watched the first episode of surviving earth and that led me down a rabbit hole on permian therapsids and my new favorite extinct animal. It's a funny dog. I didn't know much about therocephalians and they're a lot more diverse than I thought! The bosses on Choerosaurus' skull is thought to be for display as they're too fragile for headbutting.

I drew another interesting dinosaur, this one is Yi qi. A small theropod that looks like a bat and bird mixed together! I based mine on a Reeve's pheasant.
A new study published just a few days ago (https://peerj.com/articles/20794/) has completely changed our understanding of the facial anatomy and biology of one of Australia’s most famous dinosaurs. It shows that Muttaburrasaurus langdoni, which rivaled Iguanodon or even T.rex in size, didn’t possess a resonating chamber in its nose but a much narrower snout than traditional media depictions, a strong sense of smell, wide-ranging vision, low-frequency hearing similar to that of elephants, as well as a specialized teeth and beak for consuming tough vegetation.
