공감각 ’변화하는 도시, 다시 쓰이는 삶‘ (Rewriting Life in a Changing City)

본 공연은 우리가 살아갈 도시와 집에 대한 희망을 달에 기원하는 내용으로 〈변화하는 도시, 다시 쓰이는 삶〉 작품 제작 시 채집된 부산의 사운드(공사장, 환풍기, 깡깡이, 쇠사슬, 파도, 시계초침, 귀뚜라미, 기합, 숨소리 등) 와 지역민의 다양한 목소리를 서호택 사운드 작가가 재가공하여 새로운 비트로 문을 열고 안무가 이재은의 실험적인 무대, 나다은 싱어송라이터의  울림 있는 목소리가 있습니다.

영도 깡깡이 소리와 말러 교향곡이 믹스된 사운드를 배경으로 산복도로의 높은 계단을 오르내리던 사람들을 상상하며, 높낮이와 속도, 구조물 공간의 안팎과 구도심 길냥이들이 다닐법한 좁은 구석 공간 등을 활용했습니다. 관람객의 자유로운 동선 가운데 바라보는 시점이 다양해지도록 안무를 설계했습니다.

This performance expresses hope for the city and home we will live in by praying to the moon. Sound artist Seo Ho-taek has reprocessed sounds of Busan (construction sites, ventilation fans, hammering, chains, waves, clock hands, crickets, shouts, breathing, etc.) collected during the production of the work Changing City, Life Rewritten, along with the diverse voices of local residents, to open the show with a new beat. The program features an experimental stage by choreographer Lee Jeun and the resonant voice of singer-songwriter Na Da-eun.

Set against a soundscape mixing the sounds of Yeongdo hammering with Mahler's Symphony, the performance imagines people climbing up and down the steep stairs of the Sanbok-ro road. It utilizes elevations, speeds, the interiors and exteriors of structural spaces, and narrow corners likely frequented by stray cats in the old city center. The choreography is designed to allow for diverse perspectives amidst the audience's free movement.

1년의 절기를 느끼며 밭을 가꾸는 초보 농사꾼으로 감각한 사유와 선형의 이미지들을 관객 참여형 퍼포먼스의 형태로 만납니다. 안무가의 음성을 따라가며 자연, 다양한 몸들, 사운드와 풍경 안에서 각자의 걸음과 속도에 따라 모이고 흩어지며 시간을 공유합니다. 자연과 인간 사이 공생과 생명 감각을 자연스러운 흐름 속에 담았습니다.

Lee Jeun, a choreographer, meets the thoughts and linear images of a beginner farmer who grows the field while feeling the season of a year in the form of an audience-participating performance. Follow the choreographer's voice and gather, scatter, and share time according to their respective steps and speeds within nature, various bodies, and sound and scenery. I feel the symbiosis and sense of life between nature and humans in the natural flow.

Humans define weeds as weeds, but look closely at weeds that are the same life, and delicately connect them to their roots with their fingertips to identify me and weeds as a symbiotic existence without hierarchy.

제주4·3미술제는 제주 4·3 사건의 비극적 역사를 기억하고 추모하기 위해 시작된 현대미술 전시입니다. 1948년부터 이어진 국가폭력과 민간인 희생의 아픔을 예술로 기록하고 재해석합니다. 침묵 속에 묻혀 있던 진실을 드러내며, 기억과 치유의 장을 만들어갑니다. 과거를 넘어 인간의 존엄과 평화의 가치를 묻는 현재진행형의 예술제입니다.

The Jeju 4·3 Art Festival is a contemporary art exhibition initiated to remember and commemorate the tragic history of the Jeju 4·3 Incident.

It records and reinterprets the pain of state violence and civilian sacrifice that has persisted since 1948 through art.

By revealing the truth buried in silence, it creates a space for remembrance and healing.

It is an ongoing art festival that transcends the past to question the values ​​of human dignity and peace.

<안녕>은 장애예술인육성프로그램(2019~2021)의 과정을 담은 프로젝트 팀 홀딩,턴의 창작 무용 작품이다. 

이 작업에는 시각장애인, 청각장애인, 뇌병변 장애인과 비장애 무용가가 협업했다. 각자의 몸의 경험을 신체화, 무대화하는 과정을 담았다.

<Hello> is a creative dance work by the project team Holding, Turn that captures the process of the Disabled Artists Development Program (2019–2021).

This work involved collaboration between visually impaired, hearing impaired, and cerebral palsy individuals and non-disabled dancers. It depicts the process of embodying and staging their respective bodily experiences.

마니또 안무놀이 퍼포먼스, manito performace, 2021

765kV 초고압송전탑 반대 싸움 이후 밀양 송전탑 반대 주민과 연대자 간 연대를 지속하고 서로의 안부를 필름 카메라를 이용해 교환하는 '마니또 안무놀이'는 일상의 몸이 필름카메라, 사진이라는 물질을 통해 옮겨지고 확장될 수 있도록 설계하였다. 밀양 주민이 보고싶은 연대자를 지목하고, 연대자와 밀양 주민들은 각각의 일상을 필름 카메라를 통해 공유합니다.

The 'Secret Santa Dance Game,' which sustains solidarity between residents opposing the Miryang transmission towers and their allies following the struggle against the 765kV ultra-high voltage transmission towers and facilitates the exchange of greetings using film cameras, was designed to allow the physical aspects of daily life to be transferred and expanded through the medium of film cameras and photographs. Miryang residents nominate an ally they wish to see, and the allies and Miryang residents share their respective daily lives through the film cameras.

서식지 sea hare practice, 2021

‘Sea hare practice’ is a video work that was inspired from observing Gunso’s (sea hare) sensorial insticts and movements. The Gunso seems to live in its own nature of sound and movements, its own energy and time, a different pace with the world. However, an awareness of coexistence positionality along with surrounding beings and ecological contemplation is embodied in the Gunso’s movements. Five videos of choreographed movements are located throughout different points of the walk. Each video presents an audiovisual experience and perspective that is site specific to each location in Busan Yeongdo.

식물이 되어보자(참여형 퍼포먼스/아카이브 전시), 2020

수정산의 소리와 안무가의 음성을 눈을 감고 긴장을 이완하여 ‘듣기’에 집중한다. 식물의 생장점이 손가락 끝에 있다고 상상하면서 내 몸과 식물이 호흡과 감각으로 만나는 안무를 소개한다. 관객이 식물을 감각하는 과정에서 안무는 어느 장소(공간)에 드러나고 퍼포머는 어디에 존재하는지, 긴 호흡을 하며 안무가의 음성을 듣고 동기화된다. 풍경을 감각으로 바라보는 휴식과 같은 참여형 퍼포먼스로 ‘나’를 인식하면서 더 넓은 의미가 발생하는 무용이다.

움직임즉흥잼워크숍시리즈, 2019

Since 2015, Airy Movement's IMPRO.BUSAN is held once every month from April to November with different topics. It is a dance improvisation platform where each participant can discover their own stories through dance. We introduced a series of monthly workshop that covers topics ranging from Movement Play, Contact Improvisation(CI), African Mandingo, Nervous system and Organ, The viewpoints, Gyrokinesis, Donguibogam. The book includes photos and reviews of this year's workshop on various ways of thinking and embodying movements.
